Sint Maarten

Today it is St Martin's Day in The Netherlands.
If you want to know more about it,
please take a look {HERE}.

To be honest, for this holiday you do not
sent cards, but while looking online for paper
lanterns I found the picture below and could not
resist making the card above.

How to make a paper lantern card for a card?
I have a tutorial on my blog about this here:

Text on the card is the first two lines
of a song the children sing and says:
"The 11th of Novemver is the day that I can light my candle".

instructie hier:

If you rather make these real paper lanterns
and want to know how, than tere are instructions too.
You find them here:

Nog een kaartje gemaakt met een
digistempel van Create with TLC

Made another card with a digital stamp
and a circle stamp by Michael Strong.
The children are colored with copic markers
and the circle is stamped on watercolor paper.
Embossed with white embossing powder and
colored with distress ink.

Have a creative day!
