Sunday Scrap Page: Spring Cleaning

This weeks theme for
Club Scraps Weekly Chronicles
is: Spring Cleaning.
As we just pained our living room,
I think that count for a spring cleaning.

All papers are by Club Scrap
and they are from the Serenity Kit
September 2012.

The stamps I have used are the
tulips by Michael Strong.

I stamped them in versamark
and embossed it with
pearlescent ivory embossing powder.

For coloring the tulips I used two colors of distress ink:
 shabby shuttersand musterd seed.
The tulips looked so nice,
so I made some more and used
them for the April cardsketch

The sentiment on the card is by Club Scrap.

I cut out the tulips with the
matching metal die cut.
Want to know how to use the dies?
Take a look HERE for
a picture tutorial.

The tulips are decorated with yellow
gemstones. I used glossy accent
to glue them on.

Have a creative day!

Hi Hetty
Thanks for popping by my blog and for your kind comments. A couple of English people have expressed interest in attending the show and visiting Giethoorn next year after seeing my blog posts!
I really love Michael's tulip stamp you used so effectively in your cards and your LO. I didn't notice that one on his stand!
Your living room looks so lovely... modern and fresh. Well done on the decorating. I don't mind doing it all but hate clearing out and putting things back later, but it's all worth it when it's finished!

So beautiful! I especially like the nice touch of adding the tulips to the journaling!

What a fun layout, Hetty! It is fun to see your home and what a beautiful living room you have! Love the way you made the Tulips with the pearlescent embossing and the pretty green and yellow combination to color them! Your gemstones are so pretty too! You know the perfect way to make things so pretty! Thanks for sharing!
