Sunday Sketch: Turtle & winner

So here is the follow up on yesterday's post.
Inspired by Tricia's sketch
on her Efficient Crafter's blog
I went to work yesterday with my
 Club Scrap Wisteria papers
and Michael Strong's Lily stamp.
Today i will have three more cards
but this time I used Michael Strong's

You need:
3x 12x12 pieces of cardstock
and 6 panels 4"x 5.25"

Of course Tricia made it assembly style,
so take another look for those instructions
at her blog HERE.
When you cut and assembly everything for the
cards, you have material for 6 cards.
Here you see the tree cards I have made today.
This time I just used some extra paper to stamp the turtle on.

For this card I  stamped the sea weed
on the background with a darker green
and with a larger green I colored the paper
 with my blending tool.

The turtle is embossed with silver embossing poswder
and some puple on it's shield. The animal is coldored
with distress markers.

The sentiment is by Club Scrap.
Here I used the turtle in purple for
the background and only a little
seaweed is stamped and embossed in green
 on the small square.

The sentiment here is also by Club Scrap.

Here you see the same background as the
first card. And green embossing on
the back of the turtle who
is also colored with distress markers.

The jellyfish and the sentiment are Club Scrap.

And now for the winner of my blog candy:
the turtle stamp!

The winner is:

Those are wonderful Hetty. I love the different color combination with these stamps and the Castaway quotes.

Love your take on Tricia's assembly style, using Mike's Sea Turtle and Seaweed stamps! Thanks for the inspiration! I wouldn't have thought to use the purple and green! Am going to give this a try!!! I think it's very cool how you have a thick embossed area on the top of the turtle's shell! I'm wondering how you got the embossing so concentrated in that area! It looks so cool! hugs, Laura
