Creative Chemistry 102: teachings by Tim Holtz: Day 5

Day 5 on Creative Chemistry 102 lessons
by Tim Holtz are all about embossing effects.

This tag is using the rusting with distress
powder and because on Saturday I always
make something for my Michael Strong Yahoogroup
I used Michael Strong stamps:
The bottle is a die cut
with a TH Sizzix die.
I lsoused some TH word stickers
and a mini SU! alphabet stamp set.

For the background and the ink bottle
I used walnut distress embossing powder
and for the stars I used the
fired brick embossing powder.

The label on the in bottle is with the die.
I just drew the red border with a
thin marker and added some red ink around it.

Tim's teachings make your
creativety flow fully and allthough
I want to try all the techniques,
they just have to wait until I am back
from the Club Scrap Retreat.

Have a creative day!

I love how your bottle turned out. I am eyeing the vintage photo jar of distress powder at my store as I only have one jar of distress and it is green...

Fabulous embossing and great take on Day #5! The bottle with the inks splats is very cool! BTW, I did not use that embossing powder, just the embossing clear ink and I lightly rubbed the chalk across and then did heat set! Improvised!
