More washi tape for Christmas

Today I have a blogpost on the Technique Junkies
Designers Blog and I just couldn't resist doing the washi
tape tutorial from the Dec/Jan newsletter called:
Washi Shapes. And as you have discovered,
lately I am just addicted to the tape!

For this card i covered some cardstock with red
colored washi tapes and cut out the poinsettia
with Michael Strong's flower die, the smaller one.
The large one I used on the Technique Junkies
Design Blog HERE.

First i stamped the flower in green in, to
make it look like the leaves behind the flower.
I fastened the cut out flower with a yellow
gemstone brad. The Ho Ho Ho sentiment
is by Club Scrap and the wish is by Michael Strong.

BTW Laura, the birthday card you send me this
year, has inspired me to make this card!

Have a creative day!

Beautiful work, Hetty. I love the musical note paper you used. Your washi tape turned out so well.

Love your sweet poinsettia with the washi tape! Great idea to have a green stamped flower peaking out behind it. Love the colors and the music paper background! Thank you for saying my card inspired you, but I can't imagine that! Thanks!
Hugs, Laura

I love all of the cards that you have been making with the Washi Tape.
I made a few of the trees. I think after the 1st. of the year I will start playing more with the tape.

cute card Hetty . I buy washi tape , and then put it on the hanger on the back of my craft room door and forget to use it . These flowers look like just the things to make me get some off the hanger and finally use it .
