Washi Wednesday

Hello!

I told you before I love my washi tape.
It makes wonderful cards and in a jiffy.
Here are some seasonal cards I made
with Club Scrap's Fire & Ice papers,
the glittery tape that was in the box
and some older Club Scrap stamps I have.
They are from the 2007 A very Groovy
Christmas and the 20O9 set Joyful.
I have severalcards that I want to share with you.
First thes striped ones.
Combine some green and red washi tape
and glue them down vertically
on your card. You can tear them
or cut them at the end.
I colored the ho ho ho text with  my distress markers:
(festive berries and mowed lawn) and stamped them
on a separate piece of paper.
The colored ho ho ho is fastened to the
background with a piece of foam tape.
The brads are just for decoration.

On the next two cards I used the washi tape
to make a wimsical Christmas tree with
a golden (embossed) snowflake on top
or stars (whatever stamp you have that
you fancy for the top of the tree)
and even use the tape for a small tree to  decorated
the inside of your card.
The last one is with a star  Michael Strong
on top and here I also used a bit of yellow
washi tape.

I think this willbe the year of the washi tape
Christmas cards for me for I have some more ideas.
See you soon and I hope
your washi tape out too and create!

Have a creative day!
