Saturday Card: Birthday

Today this little girl has a birthday!
It is my eldest daughter
~Y*A*E*L~
and I want to wish her a wonderful birthday today
and hope she will have a wonderful year!

...and what's a birthday without a card:
Here is my card for her: a cupcake with a candle
on top. And in the candle is a roll of
money inside. i found this fun money gift idea
on pinterest.

Papers are all Stampin'Up!
cupcake and sentiment are Michael Strong
frame around sentiment by Tim Holtz

For the background I used a tiny heart embossing
folder and added some blackberry bliss ink on
the raised parts with a blending tool.

The candle is rolled paper money with a piece of
scrap paper around it bound together with a
piece of scrappers floss.

The pot stamp is embossed on blackberry bliss paper
with white embossing powder.
The sentiment is stamped in the same color within
the Tim Holtz frame on yellow paper.
A tiny sticky pearl is on either side of the sentiment.

Now let's party!
Have agreatand creative day.

Hi Hetty. Oh wow...congrats with your daughter !! What a lovely birthday card you made for her. Hope you had a lovely day and had an option of spending time with her. Oh they get adults way too fast. If you compare with the old pics from her childhood it feels like a time not far away... Right ?
Say hello to your dear hubby
Thanks for sharing dear. Hugs from Monica
