Sunday Scrap Page: Mint Tea

Happy Sunday to you all.
My scrappage today is inspired by the
sketch on the

I thought (even though I already made a card)
I would give this sketch a go for my
weekly scrapbook page as well.

I had lunch with my youngest daughter last week
and made a beautiful picture of her while drinking
mint tea. So I had the idea of making a border with
Michael Strong's leaves stamps.
All papers are by Club Scrap.

I stamped the leaves with the new distress crayons.
For this I spritz alittle water on the stamp and then the crayon
and stamp a few times.

As i was not totally satisfied with the image I took some
light grey ink and stamped the same stamp on the green
background. This way you see a little more of the lines.

I arranged the lives as  border beind the picture adding
a ew dots that I still have from one of the Club Scrap kits.

The sentiment is from My Favourite Things stamps.
The doily is from my stash.

You might wonder about the background paper.
This I made long before and was from my stash too
ready to use. It is stenciling, spraying and stamping.

Thank you for looking.
Have a creative day!
