Sunday scrap page: open house

Happy Sunday to you all!
My scrap page today is about an open house I gave last week.
I flyered around the neighborhood and hoped people
would be interested in learning about the stamping technique.
I did this for two days and a few people came. Will doit again
in September and hopefully some more people will come.

For my page I used Club Scrap papers
and Michael Strong stamps.

OK, there is a little coffee in the background,
that is because of the title I gave the open house: Coffee & Card.
I used the coffee steam stamp for decoration.
Here you seeme ready just before and it gives you a
little view of my craft room.

I thought the  Scrap hypno paper was fun to use as a background.

And because it is an open house, Mike's house stamp
was perfect tu use here. On all the doors you see in the page
I added a little pearly doorknob.
On the journaling part, there is the house again and here
the door opens and inside you read "welcome".

Thank you very much for looking
and have a wonderful and creative week!

Oh how fun to be stamping and enjoying coffee at your open house!!! I LOVE how you used Mike's House stamp and especially the narrow house portions along the left side!! Reminds me of the tall narrow Dutch houses side by side! Also love the way you made the door "open" at the house on the bottom of the page! Great use of the Club Scrap hypno paper and the coffee cup stamp and the cool coffee steam swirls! Thanks for the sharing the fun!

What a wonderful idea to have a craft open home Hetty - and a lovely way to remember it with your page.
