A color page on a card?!

On the STAMPlorations blog, they have a
challange to use a color page on a card. Why?
Well they have a new coloring book, especially designed
for card makers. It is called Color Blooms.

This image that I used is a freebie on their blog here.

I am not a very good colorer, but i love water colors.
Now that i have the new distress crayons and found
that they also color wonderful. So I started with
coloring the background in Antique linnen.

The flowers in yellow and blue.
I cut all the pieces (I printed 4 of the same size
coloring pages) before I started the coloring
and the matching green papers.

After taping everything together I added a few gemstones
on the top flowers.

The sentiment and the dictionary background on the card base
are stamps by Club Scrap.

On top of the base card and the colored flower page
I sprayed this bronze mica distress spray and it gives
the card a wonderful shimmer.

I really loved using this color page.
It looks like a collage stamp.

Thanks for looking
and have a creative day.
