Technique spotlight for March: Sentiment Background

This year I have come up with the idea to have a
technique in the spotlight at the Enjoy Michael Strong group.
Every month a new technique and this month
I was inspired by this background technique
on the blog of Jennifer Mcguire.

This is the video tutorial, but you can find more details
and see all her cards and materials used HERE.

Of course I have lots of coffee sentiments,
so I just had to make this card. Here you see
the background with all the different sentiments,
but I also added an image here and there.

After cuting a circle through the front panel
and the card, I stamped and cut out the mini
coffee cups to go in the open space.

Last i stamped the sentiment in brown
and embossed it with clear embossing powder.
This sentiment is from the set Got Coffee by

Hope you like this technique too
and give it a try. There will be more samples soon.

Thanks for looking and
have a creative day!
