Freshly Made Sketches #290

Here my card for this weeks Freshly Made Sketches.
I use Michael Strong's butterfly and flower stamp.
The sentiment is from my new Stampin'Up!
Colorful Seasons stamp set.

All details about the sketch can be found HERE.

This is how I made the card:
I started with putting a post-it note over the
top op de card and next I took the flower
stamp and worn lipstick oxide distress ink
and stamped the flowers. The heart of the flower
is colored with fossilized amber .

The butterfly was stamped on a seperate piece of
cardstock and embossed in black embossing powder.
Then I cut parts of it away, added carpet tape
to the back and filled the cut away parts with
gold embossing powder and heated it with the
heat gun. Then the butterfly was cut out with
the matching metal die.

Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!

Beautiful, Hetty! Like the way you used the post it's to make the flowers appear in a "Line". Your butterfly is so pretty and I love the "you make me smile" sentiment AND font!!!THanks for sharing!
