Color Challenge

These beautiful colors on the
looked very appealing to me
and I just had to make a card with them.

Used stamps:
Stampin'Up! Beautiful You and Timeless Textures stampsets.

I started making the background with these 3 colors of
distress oxide inks: fossilized Amber, spiced Marmelade
and Worn Lipstick. I used watercolor paper.

Addinkg the ink direct to my craft sheet and spraying
some water onto the ink and also on the watercolor paper.

Than getting the paper on the craftsheet and
taking the ink on the paper.

So much ink was left, that I ended up with 2 pieces
of background paper.

After stamping the image to the background, I used the left
over ink from the craftsheet to color the image.

For the skirt i added some pink glitter glue.

Some of the left over paper I used to decorated the
inside of the card.

The left over piece of watercolor paper I used
to make my card for the Art Neko Blog today.

For this card I used two stamps: the big one in the middle that is
embossed with silver embossing powder is the Circle Medallion
of Flowers on a bed of calligrapy. I decorated the circle
also with yellow sticky pearls.

On the border of the card I used the ginkgo leaf pair stamp
and finished off the card with an organza hot pink ribbon.
Matting the background to silver paper and to
the pink card I now have two cards for the color challenge.

Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!
