I did the direct to paper technique on the background

in combination with a zig zag stencil by Tim Holtz.

More coffee!

More scraps from my table, honest!!

(you should see my table....did you see a few posts back?

So I truly try to use up some of it this weekend.

The stamp with my name on it is

specially made for my by my coffee friend Joanne.

You can see her stamps at Stampin'Funn

and have her make up your own stamp.

The sentiment on the card is also by Stampin'Funn.

I made this card with the sketch on

CAS(E) this SKETCH blog.

I had these papers and cut outs

left over from the Coffee hop

from last year.

And I found a coffee theme challenge on the

CAS-ual Friday blog.

How I would love to win some of their

fabulous new coffee goodies!!

As unfortunately I do not have their stamps, I have used 

the papers that go with the Stampin'Up! Coffee stamps.

Here i cut out the can and cups and added them with

foam tape to the background.

Saturday sketch card: turtle birthday

For my card today I combined a sketch and a color challenge again.

This seems to be a great combination.

The color challenge is from the 

Cupcake Inspiration Blog

where I was chosen one of the six last week.

and the sketch challenge is from the

CAS(E) this sketch! blog.

I used these two colors of oxide inks

and a watercolor brush for coloring the turtle.

Stamps used:

Michael Strong coffee steam

Michael Strong cloisonné sea turtle

Club Scrap Lagoon bubbles stamps

First the steam and the bubbles in grean

and the turle on another piece of paper.

Coloring the turtle with the inks and cutting out.

I stamped the turtle twice to cut out the schield

of the turtle to add this with foam tape and 

decorating this with sticky gemstones.

The sentiment is from Stampin'funn.

Couldn't resisit decorating the inside too.
