Fusion Challenge: Lucky

Welcome to my Saturday Sketch card.
Today I made my sketch for the
with the Michael Strong small heart stamp.

The challenge is to either do the photo challenge
or the sketch...or you can do both.
I choose to do both!

I used the litle heart stamp by Michael Strong and
stamped it on different gradients of green paper,
embossed with gold embossing powder and
cut themout by hand.

The word lucky I stamped with a clear alphabeth I have
and used some green in. The line between the
word and the images i made with somegreen
baker's twine.

For the clover I used a heart punch and punched these out of
two of the hearts and cut the stem by hand. Finished of with
alittle bling gemstone in the heart of the clover.

Spring is in the air

Grab our blog badge

For today i play with a mixed media blog called
and they have Spring around the corner.
This is my Spring card with another fun stencil technique
I picked up at my Club Scrap friend Roni's Blog.
A technique with stencils and gelatos.
Thanks for the inspiration Roni!

The stencil and papers I use for this card are from
Club Scraps Woven Strand kit.
So for this technique you rub some of the colors
of your choice onto the stencil.

Then i took the texture paste and rubbed it over the
stencil. Now it takes the color of the gelatos into the
paste and colors it randomly.

This is how it looks with the stencil stil there in place.

and this is how it looks when the stencil is out.

I wanted to give it a little more color
and added some orange dylusion spray
and some gold glimmer mist for the bling.

Now onto the stamping: I got my new distress crayons and
wanted to try stamping with them. You wet the stamp and color
the stamp with it and stamp.
Here are a few of the images I  stamped, because
I am going tolayer the flower on the card.
I cut out 3 flowers for this and some foam tape in between.

Here another  close up of the center of the card.
The flower and the sentiment are from the
Weathered Floral rubber stamps by Club Scrap.

Black, Pink and White

While waiting for my new Club Scrap Paris Flea Market kit

to arrive  I am getting used to the new colors. So I found some
challenges wherei could use this with someof the older
papers I have still lying around.

I enter my card for the color challenge at the

and also for the sketch challenge on the
Simon Wednesday Challenge Blog
and for the  "Touchy Feely" challengeon the

As I still had my box of stencils on my craft table
I got another one of my Club Scrap stencils (Bon Appetit)
out and the distress texture paste.
So after the stencil is removed it looks like this and let it dry.

Then I sprayed the paper with distress picked raspberry.

And a little drops of  silver glimmer mist.

After cutting the paper to the right size,
I had a nice strip left to punch out some flowers
that I fastened to this white frame. Then i stamped
the birthday wish from the Weathered Florals
UM stamps (also still on my table).
The strip of paper is one of the cut aparts from the
Club ScrapTribal kit.

Here a close upof the touch and feel panelon the card.

Still some scraps left?! Makes the inside of the
card much more fun and enough space for writing.

Thanks for looking!

Take a Leap of Faith into the Unknown

Simon Monday Challenge Blog

Today my cards are for the Monday Challenge on
with a fun challenge:
Take a leapof faith into the unknown.

Just by coincidence I received an email from
The Stencil Girl with a new and fun technique
I definitely wanted to try.You can see
the technique HERE. And this is what I
made to combine the challenge and the technique.
For these cards I used Club Scrap papers from the
Crewel & Unusual kit from February and the UM Stamps.
But also some olde stencils by Club Scrap I have.

I am always on the lookout for new techniques with my stencils.
I have so many, so I want to make good use of them.
With the Crewel & Unusual light kit there was a paisly stencil.
but I do not have that one, so I chose this flower stencil
and two colors of distress paint to work with.
I colored the flowers with the distress paint in two tones.
Lighter color towards the middle of the flower
and the red on the tip of the leave.

After the flower i took this dotted stencil and colored
with shabby shutter distress paint here and there some
circles.
Now the ivory paper looks like this.

Next I took a black pen and the stencils. I drew the lines
of the flower, but also doodled some extra lines
to make the page more interesting

When finished with doodling, I took some glimmer
mist colors and just sprayed very lightly over the paper.
After drying I was ready to make cards.

Just cut a background panel and added a sentiment
and some red sequences. Layered the card and finished.

For card #2 also a sentiment and used a piece of
leftover paper as a ribbon.

I just could not throw away the last bit of paper
and cut these up into squares and added them
to a piece of decorated  background panel.
The woodse sentiment came with the kit as well.
Just colored it red with the distress paind I used before.

This is such a fun technichnique, I will do this again for sure.
Thanks for looking.

Cupcake Inspirations 346

Good Morning!
Today I share with you my card for the
with callenge 346
that you see here below.

I found this digital girl in the cup online  HERE and you were free to
use the coloring image. There are many fun images, so
I would advise you to have a look around the site.
I colored the image with different markers I have.
The flowers give the card some extra  dimention and
the tiny sticky pearls give it some bling.

Here you see I gave all the little chocolate chuncks
a dot of glossy accent so they stand out.

The sentiment is a digital image by Create with TLC.

I also want to enter this card for:
