Sketch and Christmas

Do you still need Christmas inspiration

for your cards? I love using sketches.

Here is my card for the

Background paper is an old piece of Stampin'Up!

designer's paper and the tree is a rubber stamp by

Michael Strong.

The tree is stamped and embossed with white 

embossing powder on the green paper. The red

baubles are sticky gemstones.

The sentiment (also embossed in white) is one from

Club Scrap.

Christmas Cheer

Today I play with my card for the 

TGIF Challenges Blog.

The challenge is to make a card with any of

the Christmas carols. Mine is the lovely Jingle Bells.

For my card I used this lovely designer's paper by Stampin'Up!

The bauble is the Cloisonné Snowman ornament by

Michael Strong, added to the card with baker's twine

and some real jingle bells.

The sentiment is again from Stampin'Up!. 

It is a stamp from the Seasonal Latern stamp set.

Coffee Lovers blog hop day 8 (last)

On the last day of the 

Coffee Lovers Winter blog hop

it is national tea day in the US,

so here my tea card.

Various scrappapers in the background and on the

card I used a Tim Holtz stencil.

The sentiment, the cup and the cookies are

digital images by Verve stamps.

The set is called Santa & Coffee and is

this week on sale.

In photoshop I added the santa hat to the cup  and printed

the image twice. So after coloring I added the tea bag

and colored the santa hat of the 2nd image, cut it out

and added it with foam tape to the first image for 

some 3d effect. Arranging the cookies to the cup

and the card was finished.

For coloring I used some alcohol markers.

And here my cup of tea today and wishing

you all a Merry Christmas

in the New Year!

Coffee Lovers Winter blog hop day 7

Welcome to day 7 of the

Coffee Lovers Winter blog hop.

Today I made some gift tags

and used some of the scraps

of previous card that were on my desk.

Papers and stamps are from Stampin'Up and Club Scrap.

I used a top punch for the cards to make them scalloped.

All the tags are 2 x 4 inch.

I did not do anything special than cutting, stamping

and glueing. Hope it gives you some inspiration for your tags!

Today is national cocoa day in the US,

so here is my card:

The background is a real piece of burlap, that I found in the

dollar store on a rol for Christmas decorations.

The filmstip is one of the idea-ology items of  Tim Holtz

and the wood stamp is also by Tim Holtz.

The sentiment and the cocoa cup is from the digital set

"Santa & Coffee"  by Verve Stamps.

The image is colored with blue markers

and decorated with a few sticky gemstones.

Coffee Lovers Winter blog hop Day 5

Welcome to another day of the

CoffeeLovers Winter blog Hop.

Today is the first day of lighting

the candles for the Jewish Holiday Hanukkah,

so card #5 is coffee and Hanukkah.

For this card I used various items from

and a dreidl punch from my stash.

Club Scrap and Coffee Lovers Winter Blog Hop (day 4)

Today I am playing in two Blog Hops, yeah!!

Ofcourse my #4 card for the 

Coffee Lovers Winter Blog Hop

but also some fun projects

for the 

Club Scrap Scandinavian Holiday Hop.

Here is a look at all the projects I have come up with.

I have used a combination of the following

Club Scrap products:

          * Scandinavian Holliday um rubber stamps

  * the digital Scandinavian Holiday set

* Trattoria and Scandinavian papers.

Christmas is giving, so how about card #4  with a spot where

you can enter a gift card. Ofcourse a coffee gift card!

For this card you need a piece of (Scandinavian red) cardstock

of 4,5 x 11 inch. Next you score the card at 5,5 and 9. Now

you are ready for decorating.

For the frontpanel I printed some paper from the 

digital Club Scrap Scandinavian Holiday set.

Papers are red from Club Scrap Trattoria

en turquise from Scandinavian kit.

The cup is cut with the Coffee Caffee die

(this week my favorite) from Stampin'Up!.

The snowflake on top is stamped with the 

Scandinavian Holiday unmounted rubber stamps

and next cut out with a scalloped circle die.

In the middle a green gemstone.

The ribbon is also Club Scrap.

This is the inside of the card.

The little flap that is the pocket is also decorated

with a pievce of left over from the printed digital paper.

The sentiment and the baubles are also from the

Scandinavian Holiday stamps. The coffee ring stamp

is from the vintage mocha Java kit.

I made this little pots with a tree as a  table decoration.

The pot is a left over can from some corn we had

for dinner (I saved 3) and got these tiny trees in 

the $$ store. 

I started with a strip of red Tratorria paper and stamped the

snowflake border with white ink. The hearts are printed with

the computer and added on to the Scandinavian blue paper.

The bird is stamped in blue and decorated with a

punched out heart (from glitter foam) and some

sticky pearls.

For this pot i stamped the Scandinavian blue with

green trees and tore up some paper border, making it look

like snow (of what we have a lot of since yesterday!)

Then i tied a red ribbon around it and finished it of with 

these lovely squares that came with the digital kit. 

Well, the left one did and the right one is my version of it.

That is so handy with digital images.

I also used the square image in a larger version for making

these cards.

And here the 3rd pot with the tree in the middle

and the birds on either side. When having a digital

image it is easy to flip it horizontal and make it look

both ways.

The sentiment is stamped with red ink and glued

on either side of the tree.

These cards are made with the digital kit. I first played around

in photoshop, then printed them out and added them to real

cardstock. With various decoration they look finished and

ready to be send.

And finally I made up this card with the Club Scrap

digital Holiday Card template. A ready made template,

where you only have to add some pictures and you

are good to send your card.

Coffee Lovers Winter Blog Hop Day 3

Today I have a little gift idea for you.

It is not my own, I found it on pinterest HERE.

For the project I used:

* Stampin'Up! Coffee Caffee dies and papers

    *  Michael Strong's mini cloisonné heart stamp.

The cup and sleeves are cut out with the Coffee Caffee 

thinlits and adding a bit of brown in all around.

The leaves are cut out of the matching design paper

that go with this Stampin'Up! set.

The heart is by Michael Strong,

because I love coffee so much!

Inside the Box I added some chocolate coffee beans.

I made a tiny cellophane bag out of a bigger one.

The little tag on the bag is cut with the tiny die that

comes with the set and have a handwritten wish on it.
