This is the first
Blog Hop ever organized.
It is to inspire you for your Christmas cards. We chose to show cards made with this Christmas tree. There are seven blog you can go to see some kind of artwork, including Michael Strongs Blog.
There will be goodies to win along the way, but you have to leave comments along the way on all blogs.
Here is what I came up with. A card with some tea lights in it. I have seen this on several blogs lately and I want to share with you the easiest version to make.

The template is in cm and the total size in inches is: 11,9 "x 6 1/2 inch
I have converted the cm into inches:
What do you need:
Plain paper of 16x 30 cm or 11.9"x 6 1/4 "
scrap paper to decorate the box and the card
stamps
4 tea lights
ribbon 60 cm / 24"
Here I show you the basic of the card. The scrappaper is just a little smaller as the basic card. You can choose to use all the same paper, or different kinds on the panels. On the edges I addes some ink.
Underneath the window of the candles you stick the ribbon in the middle of the 4 cm/ 1,6 inch. Now close the box for thea te lights with dubble sided tape (it is easier if you add the 4 tea lights first.
Take the ribbon around the box and close it with a bow to keep the tea lights in the box.
Now it is time to decorate the card.
For the inside the frame stamp is used in combination with the smallest of the Christmas trees and a sentiment by Hero Art.
On the front of the card I made a pannel and used the middle size and the smallest tree. Colored them with my copic markers. The background is done with some disstress ink and a piece of torn paper.
For the green background I used two embossing folders and my cuttlebug. The sentiment is from the word stamps by Michael Strong.
