Here is my contribution for the challenge
over at Grungy Monday.
We had to use a technique from the 12 tags
of Christmas by Tim Holtz of 2007, Day 3.
You can find all about it HERE.
And there is a prize to win from
I wanted to make a St. Patrick's Day tag
with a clover background, so I searched if there
was a clover embossing folder, but no.
So I had to make my own. What do you need:
a punch ( this time a clover)
glue stick
left over paper
card board
Punch out a lot of clovers. Cut a piece of card board
card size (4,5 x 5,5 inch) and arrange the clovers
how you want them. It is best to layer two or three
on top of each other and glue on card board.
Use them in your embossing machine.
I use it in the cuttlebug with a B plate, double embossing foam and
another B plate to have good result.

I was having such a good time making the tag,
that I made two out of the plaided paper I had made.
The subway art I used on the first tag is a freebie
you can find HERE and the sentiment on the second
tag is by Create with TLC.
Have a creative day!
Love your plaid! I just have been playing around with it, and it's harder than it looks. Your color palette is very pleasant--mine is a bit on the bright, jewel-tone side. Now I have to figure out something to put on top of in!!
ReplyDeleteYou're so clever! These are wonderful. Love the impression of the clovers.
ReplyDeleteWat een goed idee om zelf een embosmal vorm te maken. Iets om te onthouden. De tags zijn erg leuk geworden.
