Michael Strong Sea themed Blog Hop

W*E*L*C*O*M*E
You must have arrived here
with her wonderful artwork
showing what to do with
There is more.....
just scroll down!

Here is my accordion card: Sea You!
I used the Sizzix accordion 3d flip card die
to make the card.

These are the stamps I have used for this card:
* Michael Strong's mini sea star
* Michael Strong's mini fish
* Michael Strong's mini shell
* Michael Strong's steam from the coffee cup set
* Michael Strong's alphabet stamps
* Stampin Up! dots stamp
* Judikins bubbles
There are 4 panels in this card.
The front and the back are beach pannels
and the middle to are the sea.

I want to share with you how I made them
starting with the beach panels.

This is what you nees:
Post it note
blender tool
ink

Start with tearing the post it note curvy way.

Stick the note on top of the sand panel
starting at the bottom of the panel.
Use the blender tool to color the bottom.

Move the posted note a little bit further
up and color with the blender tool.

Keep on moving the post it note and
keep on coloring with the blender tool

and this is what you end up with.
Now you can stamp on it and finish of the panel.

The sea panel has a different background.
Though if you make it like above in blue
you also have a fun sea background.

For this background I used distress ink
and here is what I did:

First stamp your fish stamp in
versamark and emboss with white embossing powder.

For the direct to paper technique I used
broken china distress ink with some pearl
glimmemist. Dab your paper, dry it with
the heat gun and dab again and dry until
you are satisfied with the background.
The fish keeps on coming through the ink.

Spray the background lightly with water
and dry with heatgun for an even  better water effect.

Cover the fish with a post it and
stamp the steam over the fish.

  This wah the fish will be in front of the weed.
A stampd an extra fish and embossed it in silver,
cut it out and attached it with a foam tape in
between the other fish.
Now that I made this panel to show you how I made
the background, I did not want to waste it and
made another card with it. The bubbles are tiny plastic pearls
glued to the background with glossy accent.

I hope you all have a lovely and creative summer
and hope for some more inspiration to my friend
 were she also has some wonderful ideas for you.

Have a creative day!
