Hello!
Here we are again with our monthly blog hop
from Club Scrap and this time the name of the kit is
***TREES***
You might have arrived here via
with her inspiring ideas or you might
have used the Club Scrap Create Blog with the list
of all the participants.
I am happy you are yere and see what
I have in strore for you. Well,
I have been playing with the stencil that
came with the Scrap kit, that ships first of the month.
It is easy to use spray ink on the stencil.
This way you can use the stencil twice.
After spraying, you can turn the stencil
and pres it to the paper again and have
another print.
And in no time you have a lot of background papers
to make cards from.
Also I used my distress inks and tools
to color the stencil. There are many ways
to use stencils and you can find a lot
of tutorials on the internet.
The stencil with the distress ink background I have
used on my weekly scrapbook page:
With all the trees having their blossoms,
it was easy to use this paper. And to be with the Bootcamp challenge too,
I added some glitter washi tape from another CS kit.
On top of the colored stencil the trees and sentiment
fromthe unmounted rubber stamps are stamped on top with
archival black ink. It gives this a kind of 3d feel.
The text is made with the computer
and printed on white paper.
The line behind the tree pictures is stamped
with the dotted stamp from the UM stamps.
On these cards I also used the papers
that was made with the stencil that I sprayed.
On all the cards I used the unmounted stamps
that came with the kit. The buttons here
are from my stash.
Using part of the stencil image
makes each card unique.
Ribbon and leave brad also
came with the kit.
Here I also stamped the border of the
base of the card.
Need more inspiration.
Well, hop over to Kay's Keepsakes Blog
and see what a wonderful project she
has for you this time.
Thanks for looking and
Have a creative day !
