This card is made with a stencil by
It came with the Hannah's Busy Bee stamp set.
The giraffe is also by Michael Strong.
For this card I used a sketch from the
I started by laying the stencil in the
same angle as on the sketch.
Then I added some dark brown ink.
Taking away the stencil and adding
the sentiment stamp with black ink.
(De sentiment is from Club Scrap's
Woven Strand kit)
Then I stamped the giraffe on a seperate piece of
paper in black ink and colored it with pencils.
The leaves are punched out from the
Stampin'Up! bird builder punch.
And on top the giraffe is added.
Thank you for looking.
Tomorrow the last stencil idea on a scrappage.
Hope to see you again.
Have a creative day!
Hello Hetty. What a lovely card you shared today. I love that stamp. And the way you used a partial stencilled background looks fabulous. Funny because these hexagons reminds me somehow of the giraffe skin pattern.. So creative to use it that way...
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing.
Hope you had an enjoyable trip to zoo with Owen.
Wishing both of you a lovely Sunday.

What a fun card, Hetty! Love how you used the stencil, very pretty and cool to use it at the angle, like the sketch! I would never have thought to do that!!! Thanks for the creative ideas!!!
