On the Club Scrap forum my friend Annette
suggested we make something with the kits that have a
French conection like: Bistro, Postcards from Paris
or the Versaille kit. As I loved the Bistro kit,I have used
all of it, I only have the stamps and stencil left.
For my cards I have used the Versaille kit, of which
I had some papers left and also the stamps.
I made two cardsin the triple layer technique.
There is a tutorial on Splitcoast Stampers here.
Card #1:
on the background of this
card you see the Eifel Tower stencil
and stamps from Bistro and Versaille.
The sentiment is from Versaille.
Card #2:
This card is also made for the technique challeng:
watercoloring and it fits perfect with the theme
of Paris. These images are from the Bistro kit
and are perfect for coloring. The splatters are the tears
that have been and still are cried by those who lost
loved ones.
You find all the details and a video tutorial
on the Club Scrap Blog here.
Have a creative day!
What fantastic cards you have made in rememberance of those that were affected by the recent tragedy in Paris. Prayers for Paris!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work. I love the cafe stamps. I made 33 of this style of card for my Christmas cards this year. It is indeed a fun technique, eh?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards and love the triple layers. Thoughtful cards too.
ReplyDeleteLove the theme your group used for these cards- and I love the card designs!
ReplyDeleteCute cards and a sweet sentiment. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful Hetty, and I love the images and of course the 'hope'. Sad times, but gorgeous art.
