Simon Monday Challege: Spritz and Spray

No Monkey today...but a card for the
Monday Challenge on the
and the theme is:
Spritz and Spray.

So I got out my distress sprays
and a box to put my paper in.
Just a few colors for the background.

Then i took this Club Scrap  leave stencil
and sprayed it with water, before laying it
on top of the background.

I alos used some brown ink around the stencil
before taking the stencil of the paper.
You know water and distress inks react and
so you see the pattern of the leave.
It takes a little time before you see it really well.

Now it is time for stamping.
I took out my new Club Scrap Crewl & Unusual
Febuary stamps. Also the  2013 Weathered
Florals by Club Scrap ( the lines on the left).
I had sprayed some extra pieces of paper
and stamped the flowers on this for cutting.

Here you see a close up of the flowers.
I layered them with foam tape in between.
With a white gelpen I added some extra
fun to the flowers. Because it is also a
Valentine card I added these red sequins.

On top op the card a flower made out of the hearts
for my love.

Thank you for looking.

Have a creative day!

  4. Thanks for the tutorial on how you made this lovely card! I need to try the "water on the stencil" technique! Didn't know about that! REally like the layout and the cool flowers including the one made from hearts! I have to remember to use sequins and the white gel pen for accents! That looks great!!!
