Sunday Scrap Page: Masterboard 3 Tulips

Welcome back to see what else I created with
my masterboard paper. Today I used some of
the scraps on my scrapbook page.

This is the master board paper that I created on Friday
with Club Scrap papers, stencil and stamps.
Want to know how I did that? Come and see HERE.
So I started out with a few strips of the original paper
and used a piece of carpet tape to create this woven border.
Because not all the places have paper, some sticky places are left
and this is filled with these tiny golden pearls.

Here a close-up,so you can see the tiny pearls.
Next I wanted to create a matching piece of 12x12 paper
with the tulip stamp from Club Scrap and the tulip
stamp by Michael Strong. AlsoI used te same
colorsof distress stain, that I have used to create the
masterboard. Add the ink direct to the stamp

and stamp onto the paper.it gives a kind of
watercolor look.I stamped the Club Scrap
and the Michael Strong tulip alternately.
Here is the result of the stamping and the border together.

This is the finished 12x12 scrap page....it is definitely
hard to cover it with pictures!

As an extra accent I created these punched out
rectangles with the stamped tulips. The edges are
colored with green ink.

And here is the result!
I had Spring in my house the last couple of week
with bunches of tulips on my table. i made all these
picturesand wanted to show it of on a page.
Here a little close up of the border and the punched out
stamped regtangles.

I want to enter my scrapbook page in the
March Challenge for the DL. Art Blog.
Anything goes.

  2. Such a fun, spring scrap page, Hetty!!! Thanks for the tutorial on how you created it. I really liked learning that the distress stains can be used to stamp and create a watercolor look! Turned out soooo pretty!!! Love how you used the strips of the masterboard and how you continued with the same colors in that! So coordinated!!! Your scrap page could have been from a kit designed especially for this!!! You are a great artist and designer!! Thanks for sharing!
