Simon Says: Warm Winter Wishes

It is "Warm Winter Wishes" on the
and here is my entry.

It is a z-fold card. And below you can see how to make it:

You can make this with any size card, hardly any
measuring. For my card I used kraft cardstock
of 8.25 x 5.75 inch. and a strip of the same
cardstock of 8.25 x 1.5 inch.

Fold strip and card double like
you would do any card.

Last fold: take the top of the card and fold half
to the left again. This way you get a Z-fold.
Do the same with the strip.

Decorate as desired.
And this is the result. Papers, stamps, stencils all by Tim Holtz.

Here is a totally other version:
Papers are from the Tim Holtz 6x6 inch Christmas block.

These baubles are rubber stamps by Michael Strong.
After stamping and cutting, I glued them on gold
kraft paper and cut them out again.

The sentiments are by Tim Holtz as well as the
pointisettia stencil.

Close up of the sentiment on the strip.

Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!

  3. These cards are just too cool! Love how they open and really love how you have decorated them with the various winter themed items AND your cool coffee cup! Love how you stamped "winter wishes" multiple times and used a bunch of different stamps to create gorgeous cards! Your Michael Strong ornament are so elegant and love how you stenciled the poinsettias!
