Koninginnedag/Queensday

Deze pagina heb ik speciaal voor Koninginnedag gemaakt. Ornje voor de koningin en natuurlijk een kroon. Tulpen voor Nederland, een foto van het bezoek aan De keukenhof. De witte lijnen heb ik gemaakt met de doodle genie van Chatterbox die ik van de week met Catherine heb gekocht. Gaat lekker makkelijk hoor! Het papier is van de Paisley kit van Club Scrap.

De stempels van de vogel en de letters zijn van Rhonna Farrer en het kroontje is van Lost Coast Designs.

This page I have made especially voor Queensday. Orange for the Queen and of course a crown. Tulips for The Netherlands; this picture was made in De Keukenhof. The white lines were done with my new doodle genie from Chatterbox, that I bought together with Catherine. It is so easy to use. The paper is all from the Paisley Kit from Club Scrap. The stamps of the bird and the letters are clear stamps by Rhonna Farrer and the crown is from Lost Coast Designs .

Vilt Uitdaging/ Felt Challenge

Steeds laat ik mij uitdagen voor iets nieuws en doe daarom mee met de uitdaging bij Caardvarks. Deze keer moest je iets met vilt op je kaart doen. Deze foto vond ik er zeer geschikt voor. Heb hem eergisteren gemaakt toen ik was varen met Catherine en dan samen met het Paisley papier van Club Scrap, alsof het ervoor is gemaakt! Verder heb ik een stuk chipboard gebruikt als tak van Maya Road, die hebben ook weer leuke nieuwe spullen. Al met al ben ik zelf erg tevreden over deze kaart.
I like to be challenged into something new and that is why is enter the Caardvarks challenge. This time there had to be something with felt on the card. The other day, when we were on the boat with Catherine, I made this picture and together with the Paisley paper from Club Scrap (as if was made for it) I made this card. I also used chipboard from Maya Road - they have such wonderful new products.
I am quite pleased with the result.

De Keukenhof

Vandaag ben ik een dagje naar de Keukenhof geweest.Prachtig weer en veel foto's, dus vanavond lekker zitten scrappen. Heb het cd-boekje van de Fizz kit gebruikt en papier van de Sratoshere-kit, beide zijn van Club Scrap. Hier zijn de foto's van het booekje.


Today I went to the Keukenhof, a beautiful park with bulbs, wonderful for a tourist visit! It was wonderful weather and I took a lot of pictures, so tonight I scrapped. I used the fizz kit cd-booklet and Stratosphere paper, both are from Club Scrap. Here are the pictures of the booklet.

Gesso techniek/Gesso technique

Vandaag was Catherine uit Engeland op bezoek. We hebben een heleboel gedaan en natuurlijk zijn ook creatief bezig geweest. Ik heb laten zien hoe je de "gesso-techniek" moet doen en we hebben allebei een kaartje gemaakt met een foto van ons samen. Afgemaakt met Club Scrap papier uit de nieuwste doos (Stratosphere) en wat fibers.

Today Catherine from England was visting. And besides going places, we also did something creative. I taught Catherine to do the "gesso-technique" and we both made a card with a picture of ourselves. We finished it of with the latest Club Scrap paper (Stratosphere) and some fibres.

Koffie in de tuin/ Coffee in the garden.

Deze pagina is gemaakt met Club Scrap-papier. De tekst is met de computer gedaan, het font het Desigers. De koffiebeker heb ik zelf gemaakt en zo kun je de tekst binnenin verbergen.

Gewoon een kaartje/ Just a card

Ja, vandaag gewoon een kaartje gemaakt met papier van de nieuwe Club Scrap doos Stratosphere en een oude landkaartstempel erbij (deze komt uit de Weather-kit April 2003).
Lekker bloemetjes geponst en een tabje eraan. Hier en daar een splitpennentje en een beetje stempelinkt aan de zijkanten. Today I just made this card for fun. I played around with the Stratosphere kit and an old map stamp (from the Weather kit April 2003). Punched out some flowers, and a tab, used some brads and added some stamping ink on the edges.

Stratosphere Spin and Splash

Vandaag gespeelt met de Spin & splash! Het gaat echt geweldig en als je even de goede kleuren uitkiest van de alcohol inkt past het prachtig bij het nieuwe papier van Club Scrap met de naam Statosphere. Ik heb bij elke kleur een ander kaartje gemaakt.

Today I played with my paint'n swirl again! I used my alcohol inks and if you choose the right colour combination it fits perfect with the new Statosphere paper from Club Scrap. I made a different card to fit with every colour in the kit.

Van alles wat vandaag/ All kinds today

Vandaag kaartjes gemaakt en gescrapt. Allereerst deze leuke lay out van de poes. Ik had een doos staan waarin een hoop Club Scrap spul was gekomen en daar moest de kat natuurlijk in!
En ik...ik moest natuurlijk foto's maken en scrappen!! Met papier van Club Scrap uit de Rhapsody kit. Ik heb vanalles er van gebruikt: stempels, stencil en fibres (precies de kleur van de poes. Today I made some cards and I scrapped. First I made this nice lay out of our cat. There was a box in the hallway from Club Scrap and ofcourse that cat had to go into the box and........ofcourse I had to make pictures and scrap! With Club Scrap paper. All papers, fibres (same colour as the cat), stamps, stencil are from the Rhapsody kit.

Daarna heb ik deze kaarten gemaakt. Daarvoor heb ik eerst met de spin & splash machine een leuk achtergrondje gemaakt op glossy papier en met alcohol inkt. Daarna met zwarte stazon de koffiestempels van Club Scrap erop en de tekst is met de computer gedaan. Lepeltje met zilver geembossed. De boontjes zijn er opgeplakt met glossy accent en ook eroverheen voor het vernis effect. Tot slot op de kaart eerst een aantal koffievlekken (stempel van Club Scrap) geembossed met koper en daarna nog gestempeld met bruin en espresso.

Than I made these cards. First I made the background with a spin & splash machine (this is a childrens'creative toy) and I used glossy paper and alcohol inks. Than i stamped the coffee mugs (from Club Scrap) with black stazon and the text I did with the computer. All papers are Mocca Java Remix from Club Scrap.
The background on the card is first stamped with the Club Scrap coffee stain and embossed with copper as well as the spoon. Than I stamped the stain with brown and espresso. The coffee beans are glued and varnished with glossy accent.

Zora naar het winterkamp/ Zora goes to camp

Het zijn foto's uit 2005 die nog niet waren gescrapt, maar waaik ineens het juiste papier en een goed idee voor had. Hier gaat Zora op wintermachanee met de joodse jeugdbeweging Bnei Akiwa in dec 2005. De foto's zijn gemaakt toen ze thuis wegging en bij de bus stond te wachten. Gezellig met haar vriendinnen. Al het papier en embelishments zijn van de Rhapsody kit van Club Scrap. Here are some pictures that were waiting to be scrapped with the right paper. These pictures were taken when Zora went on wintercamp with the jewish youth movement Bnei Akiva in December 2005. The pictures show her when she went away from home and when she and her friends were waiting for the bus. All paper and embelishments are from the Rhapsodykit from Club Scrap.

Klassenfoto 2007/ Class of 2007

Deze week kwam Zora's klassenfoto en natuurlijk ook een portretfoto. Het nieuwste papier van Club Scrap "Stratosphere" was er perfect voor! This week the new class picture came and of course also a new portrait. The latest paper of Club Scrap "Stratosphere"was perfect to use for a new lay out.

Polished-Rainbow Technique

Weer een andere techniek uitgeprobeerd van de Techniek Junkies en natuurlijk mijn laatste koffiestempels hiervoor gebruikt! Again an other technique by the Technique Junkies and of course I used my latest coffee stamps!

Drumroll Snoopy

Omdat ik zoveel leuke reacties heb gekregen op mijn vorige Snoopy kaart, is er hier nog eentje! Weer met een techniek van de laatste nieuwsbrief van de Techniek Junkies. De teksstempel heb ik 2e hands gekocht en weet niet van welke firma die is. Snoopy is van Stampabilities, de huisjes op de achtergrond van Stampin'Up! en het gras is van Mariette Verhees.
De techniek die hier gebruikt is heet: drumroll, erg makkelijk te doen.

Because I had so many nice reactions to my Snoopy card the other day, I made another card with Snoopy. But here is a new techniek from the latest Newsletter from the Technique Junkies.

The text stamp I bought 2nd hand, so I do not know from which firm it is, but Snoopy is from Stampabilities, the houses in the background are from Stampin'Up! and the grass is from Mariette Verhees (a dutch stampfirm). Here I used the drumroll technique, very easy.

Nog eentje dan! / Just one more

Deze kaart is geheel gemaakt met papier van Club Scrap van de Fizz Kit. Zowel de UM stempels als het lint komen uit deze doos. De stempel die ik op het krimpfolie heb gebruikt is van een andere set van Club Srap die over babies gaat. This card is made only with Club Scrap paper from the Fizz kit. The ribbons and the UM stamps are all from the same kit. Only the "got hugs?"embelishment on shrink plastic is from another UM sheet from Club Scrap about babies.

Star challenge2 with Irisfolding

Nog een kaart voor de uitdaging bij Caardvark met het them Stars, maar totaal anders als de vorige. Lekker cute met die leuke poezenstempel die ik in Nuland heb gekocht. Het is er eentje van Penny Black. De Modern Grid technique van de technique junkies en een ster in irisvouwtechniek en de tekst is van Club Scrap van de Time & Space um stempels.

Another card for the Stars challenge at Caarvark. But totally different from the other one I made. This one is real cute, with one of the new stamps I bought at the stamp fair. This cats stamp is from Penny Black. The technique is from Technique Junkies, Modern Grid, the star is done in irisfolding technique and the text is from Club Scrap Time& Space um rubber stamps.

Technique Junkies

Weer eens een keertje opscheppen over de Technique Junkie website: je leert hier zulke leuke technieken en echt ze zijn soms super simple. Had je zelf welk kunnen bedenken. Wat denk je van deze techniek: Modern grid? Gewoon wat stempels op een papiertje en vierkantjes maken
en dit is het resultaat:

Just want to brag again about the Technique Junkies site, they are so much fun. And some techniques are so easy, you could have thought of them yourself. How about this one: just a few stamps and make lines with a ruler. Wonderful result!

Uitdaging/ Challenge

Vandaag heb ik hetgeen ik gisteren heb geleerd in de praktijg gebracht voor een uitdaging met het thema Sterren. Ik heb het nieuwe papier van Club Scrap gebruikt, Statosphere, de bijbehorende stempel en het gezicht is van Judi Kins evenals de blokjes aan de rechterkant. De tekst met sterretjes is tot slot van PSX. De lintjes komen uit mijn voorraad.
Today I used a technique I learned at the Stamping fair for a challenge with a Star theme.
I used Club Scraps latest paper, Stratosphere and its stamp. The face and the squares are from Judi Kins and the star text is from PSX.

Naamkaartje / Name Badge

Als je morgen naar Nuland komt op de stempelbeurs en met mij ATC's wil ruilen, kijk dan goed naar dit naamkaartje, want daaraan herken je mij. Achtergrondje van alcohol inkt en alle stempels zijn van Club Scrap Mocca Java . Ja, ik moet mijn naam eer aandoen. De letters van mijn naam heb ik met de cricut gesneden (font: Stamped).

This name badge I made for a stampfair I am going to tomorrow. And what topic but coffee could I have chosen! Now everyone will recognize me. I made an alcohol ink background, all stamps are from Mocca Java and the letters of my name are cut out with the cricut (font: Stamped).

Ochtend Humeur/ Morning Mood

De koffie blijft mij bezighouden en nu ik zulk prachtig papier van Club Scrap heb, moet ik er natuurlijk ook lekker veel me doen! Hier een pagina van mijn dochter en haar vriendin aan het ontbijt. De tekst spreekt voor zichzelf. Al het papier is van de set Mocca Java Remix, alleen het oranje papier is van de Paisley kit. De stempels zijn ook van de Mocca Java set. Lintjes en bloemen komen van mijn voorraad.

Ruik de lente/Smelling spring

Vandaag weer een lay out met de poes gemaakt.Ik vind dat kaleidoscope programma wat ik in een webisode van crafttvweekly heb gezien zo leuk om te gebruiken, ik moest er weer eens wat mee doen.Deze keer met papier van de laatste doos van Club Scrap, Rhapsody, waarbij ook een stencil zat, dat mooi rond de foto ging.In het midden zit de stempel op krimpfolie met daarop glossy accent en een brad.
De letters zijn met de cricut gedaan en het font heet "Stamped".

Today I made another lay out with the cat. I just love to use the kaleidoscope program seen on one of the webisodes of crafttvweekly and I just had to play with it again. I used Club Scraps Rhapsody paper and stencil, which went perfectly around the kaleidoscope circle and in the middle I stamped on shrink plastic. Added some glossy accent and a brad.
Lettering is done with the cricut and the font is called "Stamped".

Afwassen/Washing dishes

Deze pagina gemaakt voor mijn BOM (book of me) en voor een uitdaging van Club Scrap die moest gaan over je jeugd thuis. Bij het rommelen met de foto's vond ik ineens deze. Samen de afwas doen.

Al het papier is van de Retro kit van Club Scrap en de stempel van de kopjes is natuurlijk van Mocca Java Remix.

This page is made for the BOM entry of Club Scrap about childhood at home. When looking through my pictures I found this one: together doing the dishes. How we hated it later on, althou here it looks like we like to do it! Now we love the dishwasher (translation of the dutch text).

All the paper is from the Retro kit and the stamp of the cups is of course from the Mocca Java Remix.

Paaskaart 2/ Another Easter Card

Nadat de eitjes gegeten zijn, heb ik de papiertjes op de kaart geplakt! Ziet er grappig uit.

After the eggs have been eaten I added the shiny paper to the card. It looks rather neat.

Vandaag heb ik aan iets totaal anders gewerkt, dan kaarten. Aan een trouwalbum. Hier zie je er een pagina van. Het is weer eens heel wat anders om te doen, maar wel voldaan als het straks af is. Nog 6 pagina's te gaan.

Today I did something totally different. I didn't do any cards, I worked on a wedding album. Here you see one page. It is real nice to do something different and very fulfilling when it is finished. Just 6 more pages to go.

Ja, hier alweer een koffiekaart!! Ik kan het niet laten. Deze dame van Art Impressions is ook zo leuk! Alle andere stempels zijn van Club Scrap. Toevallig kreeg ik uit Amerika deze verf kleurstrook, De title erop van ontbijtkamer en de kleur dark mocca moesten natuurlijk wel gezien blijven!

Yes, another coffee card!! I just cannot resist this. This old lady froim Art Impressions is so much fun! All the othr stamps are from Club Scrap. Just by accident I got this paintchip from the States and as a title it said breakfast room and the colour dark mocca, I just had to use it!!

Nieuwe Stempel/ New Stamp

Vandaag een lekker rustig dagje! Eerst koffievisite en daarna met mijn man en moeder gewinkeld. Bij terugkomst zijn zij even een slaapje gaan doen en ben ik even met mijn nieuwe stempel gaan spelen. Ik heb gekozen voor een nieuwe technique van de technique junkies: Polished Rainbow. Daarna zijn we uit eten gegaan en nu zit ik alle verjaardagskaarten van vandaag te scannen en in albums tte platesen. Neem maar een kijkje.

Today a nice and easy day! First I had friends for coffee and later on went out to shop with my husband and my mom. When we came back they went for a little sleep and I got to play with my new stamp. I tried the new Polished Rainbow technique from the Technique Junkies. In the evening we went out to dinner and now I am scanning my birthdaycards and upload them to my albums. Please take a look.

Oma/grandmother

Ach en als ik dan de familie aan jullie voorstel, dan ik deze pagina van mijn oma: de moeder van mijn moeder. Van haar kregen we altijd brieven en kaarten, want ze woonde niet zo dichtbij dat je steeds even langs kon gaan.

Hiep hiep hoera voor mijzelf!! Vandaag weer een jaartje erbij. Wat we gaan doen weet ik nog niet, maar ik dacht ik laat ziendat ik al vroeg creatief bezig was. Op deze foto ben ik zo'n 6/7 jaar en zit al te borduren!

Op de onderste foto sta ik met mijn moeder en mijn tweeling broer en zus. Mijn vader neemt natuurlijk de foto!

BIRTHDAY

Happy birthday to me! Today I add another year and have no idea what the day will bring, but I wanted to show you that I was creative from an early age on. Here I am doing some embroidery at 6 or 7!

On the picture below you see me and my mom and my twin brother and sister. My dad is obviously taking the picture.

Technique Junkies

Vandaag wil ik even zeggen hoe leuk de site en het lidmaadschap van de Technique Junkies is: deze site is opgezet door Pat Huntoon en samen met haat team laat ze iedere twee maanden een nieuwsbrief uitgaan (die krijg je per post thuis) en dan kun je met een wachtwoord naar internet en precies zien hoe je deze nieuwe technieken moet doen. Het zijn geen filmjes, maar foto's met duidelijke instruktie. Neem er eens een kijkje; er staan drie gratis technieken op, zodat je kunt zien hoe het er bij de workshops uit ziet!

Deze koffie kaarten heb ik gemaakt met de techniek uit de laatste nieuwsbrief en heet modern grid. Alle stempels en papier die ik hier gebruikt heb zijn van de set Mocca Java Remix van Club Scrap. Alleen het leuke koffie lint heb ik van Marie-José gehad!
