I wish you all a happy, creative and inspiring 2009! May all your dreams come true!
Just one mor card for Hanukkah. Tonight we light the last candle. Today I made a card in non traditional colors and used a Technique Junkies technique called: Faux Design paper. The swirl stamp is by Club Scrap and the others are unfortunally unknown.
This is a real house card. The menora is in front of the window. It is a stamp from Posh Impressions. You may also have noticed the frame stamp from Michael Strong. The sentiment is an old foam stamp and I have no clue to what the company has made this one.
A card without stamping! But with my new star punch, I got this idea. Paper and tag are by Club Scrap and the ribbon is from my stash.
This is another sketch card for MJ's blog. It is made with different Hanukkah stamps from known and unknown companies.
When we light the candles, we do this in front of the window. I think this stamp is just too sweet. He is from Stampa Rosa and is called Too many potato Latkes. Potato latkes is a special recipe we make for Hanukkah. Paper and sentiment are by Club Scrap.
A dreidel is a kind of spinner for children to play with on Hanukkah. On my third card I did a dreidl in the irisfold technique. Would you like the pattern? It is here. Or have you never done this and want a free tutoial? It is here! I used stamps from Magnolia and Stampin'Up! (Festive Fun) and the menorah is a punch.
This is a wonderful easy technique for a quick but beautiful card. You take a pievce of white cardstock and stamp your image with versamark. Now emboss with white embossing powder.
Tonight we have lighted the first candle. Eight days we will add one more candle for Hanukkah. So this week i will add eight cards for Hanukkah. Would you like to know more about this holiday? The girl is from Stamping Bella en the text is from Club Scrap.
Ever since 2003 I make these number calendars and every year people mail me for a new pattern! So here you will find the pattern for 2009! You will find there also more samples for inspiration.
Here my card for this weeks sketch on the Techno Stampers blog. I used Michel Strongs Snowman and my handy calendar program from red castle. Paper I used is coordinating scrap paper by Creative Imaginations. I colored the snowman with gelpens, used my Quickutz for the numbers and a punch for the snowflakes.
Very often I went over to Michelle Zindorf's blog, but I never had tried this technique until today. I got this new snowman from Michael Strong and had the idea to use Michelle's technique. The trees in the background are by Stampin'Up! and the text is by Inkadinkado.
Today I choose to make a Hanukkah card for the Techno Stamper sketch. Right before Christmas it starts on the 22nd of December. Would you like to know more about this holiday? Click on the word Hanukkah. The card is made with the frame and triangle stamps from Michael Strong. They are both embossed with silver. The text and dreidls as well as the paper are from Club Scrap.
I have so much fun with this vase stamp from Michael Strong. Look what happend: frogs and hedgehogs from Penny Black come along. Do click on the photo, so you can see it better.
This time I am quick with making the sketch of Techno Stamper. For this card I used stamps by Michael Strong (the vase, the flower) and the text by Club Scrap. For the backgound I have used some scrap paper by Making Memories (snowflake falala).
