Saturday Card: Coffee

Good Morning!
Have you had your cup of coffee today?
I have just finished mine with stamps by
and Reunion papers by Club Scrap.
And on the background you see a coffee bean embossing
folder by Sizzix. Also the frame on the card
is a sizzix die ( a old and loved one!)

The large coffee cups from the stamp set
have been stamped with versamark on red and blue paper.
Cut out the cups and to stack them make a slit
in the lower cup and slip the upper cup inside.

The text was inspired by one on the Club Scrap cards
saying "love will keep us together", so I went to my printer
and made my own text.I used the font that is used
with the Reunion kit. They are free fonts and you
find them here:
and

And as usual decoration on the inside as well.
These stamps are by Club Scrap and from 2012
and is called Brewed Aweknings.

Have a creative day!

Sketch card: baby

Over at the Club Scrap forum
there is always a card sketch
and by now you know I love doing them.

As there is always a demand for baby cards,
I choose to use a much loved set (by me)
called Oh, Baby! from 2008.
Love the stamps and I still have some
of the papersand even the ribbon is from that
special, edition. You can see some of the
images on the ALSB instructions here:

The cute little animals are the rubber stamps.
Each image has something colored with pencil.
I cut them out by hand.

Have a creative day!

Sunday Scrap page: new telephone

Even though the new year has started an I have
to make a new book, I want to finish last year first.
Just 4 more to go and 2014 is finished.

This page is from last October when DH and I finally
decided what new telephones we want....yes this took
quite some time deciding and many trips to the
shop and asking questions. But we did it!!

While we were busy installing our telephones I made these
pictures and had an idea for a page, but at the time did
not make it. So now with the Club Scrap Reunion kit
(our clothes match up perfectly!) I finally get it done.

For this large sentiment I used an image
by Create with TLC.It is printed on
the Club Scrap paper and cut out
with a circle spellbinder die.

This set is called "Dial a Saying"set
and you can find it here.
 It is only $ 2,75

Journaling with the computer and printer
and the fun circles are from

The ribbon flowers came with the Club Scrap kit.
The make a wonderful embellishment on the page.
The red circles are punched out of the Club Scrap
paper that is with the embellishment package.

Thank you for looking,
your comment is much appreciated.

Have a creative day!

Saturday Card: using dies

Flower Metal Die Cutter

What else can you do with dies,
that go with Michael Strong's stamps?

They have these little holes (that you need
to align the stamp) and that doesn't look
nice after cutting.
So have a look at these ideas.
You need a card, a pannel (yellow) and the white paper
is for cutting the die (of course you can use any
color you like). Then a piece of colored scrap paper
or paper you have made for backgrounds, but never used.

Take your white paper and cut to size. The take the flower die.
Make sure you have the dots horizontalon the card.

When finished cutting, stamp the sentiment
you want for your card.

Add the piece of scrap behind the opening.
Now add some extra holes around the border
of the card. Take a ribbon of your choice
and pull this through the whole ending at
the bottom with a bow.
And here is the finished  card.

Now for the inside of the card
I used the matching mini-flower stamp and
a multi-colored inkpad.
Here the finished inside of the card.

Now Mike has more dies to play with!
How about the heart for Valenine?
The little hards on the ribbon are done
with a paper punch.

Mini Shapes Metal Die Cutters
For this card i used the mini heart that comes in a package
with the mini flower, fan and easter egg.

Here the inside of the card.

Hope I gave you some inspiration today.
Have a creative day!

Sunday Scrap Page: Surprise

Now I can tell you the wonderful news!
Owen is going to be a big brother!

One day the family arrived at our home
and showed us this notice:
Well I got it right away, Yael was pregnant.
This was such wonderful news.

Then she went to the midwife for her
first appointment and ultrasound.
Well, then they got their surprise.
Yael was not expecting one baby but two!!

OMG, they were in shock, could not believe it.
Yael called me right away:
Mama,I am going to have twins!!!

Here is the ultrasound and there is no way of denying it!

Before you start asking: yes,it runs in the family.
I am the eldest at home and my brother and sister
are twins. My mother was so surprised and she
loved seeing the picture, for in her time they did
not have this and she thought she was going to have
one baby until the moment the 2nd one was born.

Here a close up. What will it be? 2 boys,2 girls
or a boy and a girl? That will have to wait another month
before they can see it. Owen is saying he is
getting a brother and a sister. Will he be right?!

The Club Scap Reunion papers finally arrived
and they were so right to make these pages.
to make these corners for the pictures.

The pages are inspired by the free ALSB
templates you can download from  the Club Scrap site here.

Have a creative day!

The little doggies are from the

Club Scrap Blog Hop: Reunion

Welcome to the last Club Scrap Blog Hop
of 2014. I hope you came over here from
with another of her wonderful ideas.

If you get lost anyware along the road, you can alsways
go to the main list on the Club Scrap Blog.

So here is my entry. This time I was unlucky
with my Club Scrap pizza box to arrive.
Due to the busy time at the post office my box
is still not here, so for my entry I worked with

the digital kit this time. No delivery problems there!!
I made a hybrid project.
As I am a total nitwit with digital stuf,
I just used the images as jpg and printed some papers
and this is the result:
Yes,i want to wish you all a very happy, healthy,
creative and wonderful New Year.May all seasons
bring you all that you wish for yourself in pizzaboxes!

To make these boxes I printed 3 light brown papers
and 3 of the colored papers and also the numbers
of the year ahead of us.
I used these framelits from Stampin'Up! called
Curvey Keepsake box to cut the papers
and the labels.

The I printed this image 4 times on special
shrink plastic for the printer
With pencil I colored ech picture acording to
one of the 4 seasons before shrinking it
with the heat tool.
You are probably wondering about the size:
the print is 3,5"x 2,5" and when it is
shrunk the seize is 1,5"x 1,25".

Here you see them all finished.

On the back i made two of them intoa brooche
and the other two are with magnetic tape.
All of the seasons go into a box.

The labels are stamped with the word happy
with alphabet letters from 2007 Be Still.
The number 2015 I printed on white paper
and used ruby red ink aound the cut out circle
and added the scalloped circle behind it. Blue paper
alsoprinted from the digitalkit.

These boxes are a cute present and also wonderful
for decoration on new years eve.

More inspiration with this kit
