you what I made two years ago with my grandson.

New stamp by Michael Strong

In the coming days I want to share with you

some of the new stamps that my friend

Michael Strong has in is shop.

This is the first set:

Hugs & Kisses.

And i used it for this sketch:

I started by stamping the circle stamp on dark green

paper and embossed it with gold embossing powder.

The are cut out with a circle die and a circle punch for the inside.

Next the background: sprayed with peeled paint

and tarnished brass distress mica spray.

When all was dry I used an embossing folder

and some peeled paint distress oxide ink on the

raised parts.

Inside the top circle a golden punched out clover

for St. Patricks Day and a sentiment by Hero Arts.

Simon Says: Feminine/Girly

Here is my journal page for the challenge on the

Simon Says Stamp Monday Blog.

The challenge is Feminine/Girly.

Here is how I made the page:

I started this page with 2 Tim Holtz stencils.

I used thick gesso and a credit card on the

scribbels stencil.

Next I sprayed some distress oxide ink on top of

the gesso in the color picked raspberry.

On top of the roses I added red distress crayon.

Now it is time for the hearts and red and pink

oxide distress ink.

I added walnut stain oxide distress ink and 

musical washi tape.

I printed some vintage papers and a sentiment from

  Create with TLC

and colored this image with aquarel paint.

A little stamping with the butterflies from the

Papillon set by Tim Holtz and the page is finished.

Dino's and sketch challenge

When isaw thes dino thinlits by Tim Holtz.

I just had to have them. With 3 little boys, I was sure

that I was going to use these quite a lot.

So here the first playdate:

Today Colin wanted to make a dinosaur,

so i got out my new dies. We also got out

some papers and glue and went to work.

After a cople of dinosaurs were cut,

they need to be glued to the paper.

We also cut some leaves for the dino's to eat.

And when Colin noticed my stamps, he wanted

to stamp too.

I had to play too of course and had a sketch

in my had to use.

It was the sketch from the

CAS Color & Sketches Blog.

Here the inside of the card.

I used Tim's dino thinlit, design papers from Stampin'Up!

and a dino stampset called No Bone About it also from

Stampin'Up!.

Club Scrap March Sketch

Still trying to clean my craft room, but:

This time I found some left over papers

from Club Scrap's Daffodil's kit.

I thought it was perfect for the March sketch

on the Club Scrap Chat Facebook group.

This is the sketch and I had fun making two cards

and used the Daffodil rubber stamps as well.

Here is card #1 .

The splatter strips came with the kit.

It is hard to see, but the brown strip

has been embossed with a basket embossing folder.

The stamp is colored with aquarel paint.

The sticky pearls are from my stash.

For card #2 I created a same background

but used another stamp.

I stamped the image with green ink

and colored it with aquarel paint.

The orange splatter are a stamp from the

Daffodil kit, but the sentiment is from the Club Scrap

Shibori kit. Here I used some sticky

gemstones from my stash.

Here are the daffodils in my garden.

Coffee Gift Card

I just got a new block of design papers,

all kinds of purple designs, so perfect for

the next challenge.

The color challenge over at the

Color Throwdown Blog.

And when I saw the sketch on the 

Sketch Saturday Blog,

I had an idea for my card.

I have this pocket die in my stash and

i cut out the pocket and from one design

and the rectangle from another piece.

With the Tim Holtz coffee die I made this cup

with grey paper and some left over design paper.

For the background I used the Tim Holtz

coffee cup embossing folder with kraft paper

and some purple distress ink.

Some stamping with Altenew's coffee ring stamp.

Here you see the finished card.

Inside the pocket there is a coffee gift card

and the cup. On the back of the cup you can

write a personal wish.

The purple crinkle ribbon in the background

is by  DL.ART.
