Sunday Scrap Page: Sinterklaas

This weeks page for the
Weekly Chronicles was supposed to be
with a "blue" theme, but it turned out red
was the color this time!

In The Netherlands the children have welcomed
Sinterklaas and his "Zwarte Pieten",a very important
occasion in the life of young children.

If you have no clue as to what Sinterklaas is,please read about it HERE.

This page is made with Club Scrap Tahiti papers
and Michael Strong stamps.
The text of the page is
printed with the computer.
On this page I used several Tim Holtz dies:
the roset, ribbon flags and a strip alphabet die.

As for the Michael Strong stamps

This is cut with scissors and is what we call
a "mijter", it is what Sinterklaas wears on his head.

In the comming weeks you will learn more
about this childrens festivities: the food and the fun.
It lasts until Dec 5 when Sinterklaas
goes back to Spain in his boat and with his helpers.

Have a creative day!
