Happy Passover!

Tonight is the start of the Jewish holiday Passover (for information
click HERE) and here you see a picture of some of the
ingredients for my cooking. All of the family will arrive tonight
and we will have a special meal called SEDER.
There are special food regulations and one thing is for a week
we do not eat normal bread, but matzo (unleavened bread).
So it infolves quite a lot of preparations.

Of course I want to decorate the table
and making some cards and name cards.

This card is made witha stamp from Zum Gali Gali
and shows a seder plate. On top and bottom
you see the pattern of matzo that i printed on copy paper.

Here is the small table card (3,5x 2,25 inch).
The sentiment is Stampin'Up!

For the cards I made cute little envelops
from matzo paper with the envelope punchboard.
For this little envelope you need a piece of 5 x 5 inch .

I also made these flower wrapping to give
when everyone leaves.

Happy Passover to you all!

Club Scrap Daffodils linky party

Today I am showcasing all kinds of projects
with the wonderful Club Scrap Daffodils kit.

You find all the projects on the Club Scrap Blog.

The paper kit is wonderful and makes lots of great
scrapbook pages. I had some wonderful pictures from
last year's visit to the Keukenhof with my Club Scrap
friend Jill. Perfect for these pages.

All elements are from the March Daffodils kit.
I also added some splatter papers I made
a few days ago with the bingo blast technique.

The flowers, wooden sentiment and fun velvet buttons
are all part of the March Daffodils kit.

For this project I used the Daffodils hybrid kit.
I had such a great picture of my eldest grandson and
his school project, that he brought home yesterday,
that I made a quick digital page in photoshop.

With some of the leftover pieces of paper from the
splatter technique and cut ofs from the layout, I made these
cards with weaving those strips and taping them to the card.

For the first card I decorated the woven strips
of paper with a roset and this daffodil cut out that
cam with the paper kit. The sentiment is stamped
and the butterflies are punched out.
The second card is on this lovely decorated
paper with the last strips and another piece
of cut out from the kit, more butterflies
and sticky pearls. The word happy is typed
with the computer and cut out and glued to the
green strip.

Thanks for looking
and have a creative day!

and printed the sentiment with the computer.

You can play to by using this chicken image
that you find HERE.

Digital splatter technique for Club Scrap

Here another version of the Club Scrap technique of
the Month challenge: splatter technique. This time I used

For my splash technique I searched the internet for
png splas images, for I have no idea how to mnake
these myself. I downloaded yellow, orange and green
splashes and imported them in my photoshop program.
Playing around with all the layers and splashed made
this card.
And here is another version with the same images.
The eyelets and the ribbon are from the Brewed
Awekenings I downloaded this week here.

Blast from the past

This month there is a fun technique challenge on
It is to use a splatter technique.

Mine is a favorite from old times BINGO BLAST.
It was introduced in 2009 by the Technique Junkies.
I have used it before like here.

I used the distress stains inks in several colors
of yellow/orange/green and this is the resultof
adding the inks to the paper. Perfect backgrounds
for my cards.

I wanted to make some Easter cards, so a bunny would
be fun to add to the card. For this I used the bunny
die from Tim Holtz with its matching bow.
All papers are from the Club Scrap Daffodils March  kit.

I had fun making the tail gor the bunny.
It came with the March kit: velvet buttons, just perfect!
As i do not have an Easter sentiment from Club Scrap,
I used the sentiment from one of my Tim Holtz sets.

You might have noticed I made two backgrounds.
I used the 2nd piece for this tag, that I added to the
chocolate treat for my grandsons.

Here a better view of the tag.
The wonderful chocolate colored ribbon
also came with the Club Scrap March Kit.

Thank you for looking and
have a creative day!

Digital scrapbooking

Club Scrap has a digital SALE for a short time.
Some older digital kits are available HERE.
I just had to get the Brewed Awakenings frrom 2012.
I was not very much into digital scrabooking back than.

This set also comes with two onderful templates,
that are easy to use. But there is much more to
make your own pages.

As I am still in the learning curve for digital scrapbooking
I find using templates easy to make fun pages.
Here you see one of the twin boys making me coffee
and of course I love drinking coffee made by my grandson.

Thank you for looking
and have a latte great day!

SSS Easter challenge

With Easter soon ofcourse there are lts of Easter
challenges around. Even though i do not celebrate Easter, I celebrate Passover,
my friends do and it is so nice to use the bunny stamp.
My card is for the Simon Says Stamp Blog.

I started out with the mini bunny blueprint stamp by
Tim Holtz. It is stamped in versamark and embossed
with white embossing powder. Next I used lucky clover
green oxide ink to color the panel. The white embossing
powder works as a resist.

For the background I stamped the mini blueprint
easter egg from the sam Tim Holtz set all
over the paper in black.

Then I took a few colors of oxide distress ink and
colored the paper with the matching blending tools.

A little extra coloring on the eggs mith distress markers.
Now it is time to assembele everything and make it into a card.

I used some left over colored filter paper for these
punched out flowers (from the spring tag).

The sentiment stamp is from the crazy talk sentiment
stamp set from Tim Holtz.
The ribbon is one of the handied ribbons by Diana Larson.

Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!

SSS Spring challenge

Even though it is bitterly cold here in The Netherlands
this weekend, I know Spring is around the corner and
crafting and thinking about it keeps me warm.

I made this tag for the Monday Challenge
where the challenge is Spring/ Easter inspiration.

The background is a tag don in the direct to paper technique
with a variety of green and fosselized amber oxide
distress inks. The bird is a big die cut by Tim Holtz
and the flower is made out of a coffee filter.
I sprayed the filter with fosselized amber distress spray
and cut the flowers with a punch. Inside I added a stem and
glued all the layers together. The stem end went through
the tag and taped to the back of the tag.

The background rays ar made with a stamp
and fosselized oxide ink.
Yhe birds nest is another stamp. First I stamped it
on the tag and next on a piece of white paper.
Then colored the nest with a brown distress marker
and cut out the nest and added it with foam tape to the tag.
The words are from Tm Holtz ideology small talk stickers.

and have a creative day!
