Club Scrap Ivy League Linky Party

Here my contribution to the Club Scrap linky party.
I share with you two pages I made with pictures from last weekend
celebrating my husbands birthday. We went out for the weekend.

We cycled 40 km (25 miles) and had a 2 hour walk through some castle gardens,
lovely lunch and dinner and a great hotel.

This months Ivy League papers were just perfect for scrapping.

We were in the south of The Netherlands, in Limburg.
The weather was not so very nice on Saturday, but
sunny and lovely on Sunday.

Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!

Back to school again

I just couldn't resist making another notebook
matching the post-it holder like I did the other day.
You have seen the post-it note holder and instructions HERE.

All stamps and papers are Stampin'Up!
and I enter this for the
Monday and Wednesday challenge on
the Simon Says Stamp challenge blogs.
Here a close up of the sentiment and the pens.
These are colored with zig markers and on top
glossy accent to make them look even more
like real pens.
Inside peek.
PS. no special template. Just measured the inside
notebook and made a cover around it with 0.25"
extra and 0.25" extra as the spine.
Decorate to your own liking!

Happy Birthday, Raymond!

Today is the birthday of my dearest husband.
I wish him health and happiness and say
cheers to a long and healthy life!
Here my card for him with the great wine stamps from
Tim Holtz and a matching envelope.

Here a close up of the card, that I also want to enter in
the Food and/ or Drink challenge on the

I started this card with a pice of music paper
and stamped the grapes in versamark and embossed
these with white embossing powder.
Next coloring with a few oxide ink.

When you go on top of the embossed places,
these work as a resist.

Here the finished page after coloring.

Next I stamped the wine glass all over

and colored it with zig margers and a watercolor brush.

Also some extra images where stamped and colored
and cut out.
Here you see how everything comes together.
I also used on of Tim's paper dolls, sentiment ticked
and sentiment meta; to finish the card.

This is the inside of the card.

and a watercolor brush.

More inspiration for Jewish New Year cards

As Rosh Hashanah - Jewish New Year - is around the corner
(September 10/11) I am busy making cards. On my other blog
Creative Stampin4you I have a blog hop going with
a group of Jewish Stampin'Up! demos. Go here.

For these cards I used an old cardbox I have from
Stampin'Up!. It came with great bakgrounds
and easu to use flowers and leaves.
Here you see some of the parts from the box that was used.

From the recent catalogue I used
the set Jars of Love (for the honey jar)
and Pick me Up (for the apple)
The sentiment is from an old SU! set
called Mazel Tov.

Here the sentiment is from Ruth Jewish Stamps.

As you can see i added the flowers with a piece
of foam tape and on top of the flower you find
an adhesive enamel dot.

and have a creative day!

Back to School

Here my contribution for the challenge

Not only all the children go back to school,
the teacher come back to with all new ideas
and inspiration on how to make it this
another great school year.
So I made this little post-it gift set for my
fellow teacher to give them a boost.

You find all the details of the challenge
Back to School here.

I used some Stampin'Up! design paper
and the cup is a rubber stamp also by Stampin'Up!,
but the sentiment is by Stamplorations.

The sentiment end with the word day, but i cut that off
and repleaced it by the word year, that I cut out
with a thinlit die.

On the back of this post-it stand I made some room
to write a wish for my fellow teachers.
I found this great pen with cm and inches to go
with this set.

Here are some measurements for making your own:
You need a piece of cardstock 5.75"x 12"
scoring vertical: 0.5 - 1 - 4.75 - 5.25
scoring horizontal: 2 -2.5 - 6 - 9.5 - 10.5 11.5

Decorations to your own desire.
I found the instructions here.

Thank you for looking
and have a creative year.

The flowers and leaves are from a SU! card set
and you just pres them out and add them with a piece
of foam tape. On top a sticky enamel dot.
