Yesterday my new Club Scrap April stamps arrived and I just had to get them ready for the wonderful Technique challenge on the Club Scrap Blog: Washy Watercolor. On the BLOG, you find a video tutorial and detailed explanations by the wonderful Julie Heyer.
If you wonder what I used to make my stamps stick to an acrylic block: it is Mount-It adhesive
from Club Scrap, just perfect for unmounted rubber stamps.
Both cards are made with the wonderful
April In Bloom rubber stamps and papers from my
Club Scrap stash.
The background of the card is made with the hyacint stamp
from the set with dusty concord and broken china
distress oxide inks. The green I used is mowed lawn.
"Hello" is cut out with a thinlit and added with some drops
of glue to the backgound.
On this card I used the same colors. The hyacint stam
is also stamped on a seperate piece of paper and stamped in
two colors and with a watercolor brush colored after stamping.
As you can see, the inspiration came from the garden!
Thanks for looking
and have a creative day!
