Saturday sketch card: Mojo Monday 479

Happy Saturday!
Had fun playing with the Mojo Monday sketch for today.
It is going to be an owl post, for my friend Paulette
has send me this lovely word ard and I just had to use it
for I love owls.
For my card I used this sketch from the

For my card I used
distress markers
versamark and white embossing powder

I started with printing the sentiment on white paper
anbd cutting it to the size I wanted. Next the owl
is stamped with versamark and embossed with white
embossing powder. The image is ready for coloring.

I colored with the markers on my craft sheet and with
a paintbrush I colored the owl. The white embossing
lines work as a resist.
The tree is a die from Tim Holtz.
In the background I used plain blue and scrap paper
with the feathers.
A few leaves are in the place of the circle from
the sketch.

And here is another card that i made:
This is a z-fold card with an image I found on internet.

Here you see how I folded the card.
First double and then the front of the card double
again towards the front.

The cute flowers are from my stash.

Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!

Gosh, that owl is beautiful. I'm an owl lover and have so many things with owls on them. Your watercolouring really captures the beauty of this stamp. The Z fold is one of my favourite folds.

Love the owl and the fabulous (smile) sentiment, great addition with the leaves etc. Love the second card, still the same fab sentiment, but an altogether different card and feeling. LOVE the fold, Thanks for the info.
