2013 Calendar

With the New Year nearly there it is time

to make some calendars.

Here is the first one. can is one

on your desk. I made it 7x7 inch.

For the background I used Michael Strong's

cloisonné square stamp embossed in gold.

 

The numbers are cut with the cricut.

Here a close up of the flower. It is one of those ready made

flowers with leaves by Michael Strong.

On the backside of the card I made a stand

so the calendar can stand up.

Konijn/ Rabbit

2011 is het jaar van het konijn en daarom ben ik maar eens

rond gaan kijken, wat ik daarmee kan maken.

Ik heb een geweldig leuk kalendertje gevonden

(de maat is ong. 9x9x9 cm) en je kunt HIER een pdf file ophalen

en uitprinten om er zelf ook eentje te maken.

2011 is the year of the rabbit en so I looked around the internet

to see what I could make with this.

I found a real neat calendar (size 3,5x3,5x3,5 inch) and

you can download the pdf file HERE and make one yourself.

Hier zie jij mijn versie en natuurlijk heb ik er ook wat van mijzelf

bij gedaan. Ik heb de mini-bloem van Michael Strong

eerst 2x op wit papier geembossed met rode embossing poeder

en daarna met goud metallic rub-ons bewerkt.

Daarna nog 2x op witte krimpfolie gestempeld met rode stazon,

uitgeknipt en verwarmd met mijn heatgun.

Natuurlijk vooraf een gaatje eringemaakt voor die leuke

brad met dat pareltje erop.

Tot slot nog een lintje met een belletje om de nek van het konijntje.

This is my version of the calendar and of course I added a little something

of myself here. I used the mini-flower by Michael Strong.

First I samped and embossed it in red on white paper

and added some gold metal rub-ons.

Next I stamped the flower twice on white shrink plastic,

cut it out, heated it with my heat gun.

I did not forget to make a hole in the middle for

the cute little brad with the pearl on top.

I finished it of with a ribbon around the neck of the

bunny with a tiny golden bell.

Ik heb nu to zoiets leuks gevonden op een ander blog.

Een lesje om een doorlopende kalender kaart te maken.

Voor deze kaart heb ik papier van Club Scrap gebruikt (All That Jazz), de dames zijn van I Brake for Stamps en de grote letters zijn van Michael Strong. De rest heb ik met de computer gedaan.

2011 kalender kaart/ calendar card

Vandaag even een heel ander kaartje! Ik kwam op het idee door wat ik zag op het blog van Kim Score. Het patroon voor de 2011 kalender was al te vinden in de zomer (kijk HIER), maar deze keer er eens een heel ander kaartje mee gemaakt.

Today a totally different card. I got the idea from Kim Score's blog. The template for the 2011 calender I posted already in July (see HERE), but this time I made a totally different card.

De kleine mini kalender heb ik geprint met een fantastisch programma van Red Castle. Je kunt hier een gratis programma ophalen om op elke maat een kalender te printen.

The mini calendar is printed with a great program at Red Castle. It is a free program for printing calendars any size you want.

Om je te helpen heb ik het kalender patroon en de maanden er maar even bijgezet, kan je gelijk aan de gang. De bom is met een cirkel pons gedaan en vlammetje is de helft van een hartje.

To make it easy on you I added the template for the calendar and the months. The bom I did with a 1 1/4 inch circle punch and the flame is half a heart punch.

Papier en stempels van deze kaart zijn van Club Scrap. Het papier is uit de Private Eye collectie en de achtergrond stempel is van de Michael Strong collectie van Club Scrap.

De sneeuwman is van Michael Strong.

Paper and stamps are by Club Scrap. The paper is out of the Private Eye collectie and the background stamp is from the Michael Strong collection by Club Scrap. The snowman is by Michael Strong.

2011 Christmas/New Year card

For the background of this card I used a tecnique from the August Technique Junkie Newsletter called

Worn Wallpaper. The images are all digital images by FireCracker by Designs( I want Christmas & Floppy Bunny and colored with copic markers. I have printed them in different sizes to make this scenery on the numbers.

Scrap Kalender/ Scrap Calendar

Deze kalender pagina's zijn 15 x 15cm. Papier is van Club Scrap Solstice en stempels zijn van Michael Strong (vaas en winter cloisonné cameo). Het template voor de kalender kun je HIER vinden.

These calendar pages are 6 x 6". They are made with Club Scrap Solstice paper and Michael Strong rubber stamps ( vase and cloisonné winter cameo). The template for the calander you can find HERE.

Alweer een kalender. Dit doosje met kalender heb ik op een ander blog gevonden,et beschrijving. Dus als je het ook wilt maken moet je even HIER klikken voor de beschrijving. Papier voor dit doosje is van Club Scrap (Artifacts) en de vissen zijn van Michael Strong.

Nieuwe Kalenders/ New Calendars

Een nieuw jaar, dus nieuwe kalenders maken. Dit zijn eenvoudige kalenders om te versturen. Ze zijn gemaakt op een dubbelgevouwen kaart van stevig papier. De kalender heb ik geprint met het gratis programma van red-castle. Fit is een zeer eenvoudig programma, waarbij je de maat van de kalender makkelijk kan aanpassen van een mini-kalender tot eentje per pagina.
De kalenders hieronder zijn gemaakt met papier en stempels van Club Scrap (Birds of a Feather) en kolibri stempel is van Michael Strong.

A new year, so new calendars have to be made. These are fairly easy calenders made on a sheet of folded cardstock and easy for sending. The calender is printed with a free program from red-castle. You can make any size of calendar from a mini calendar like I used here to a month per page. I made thes calendars with paper and stamps from Club Scrap (Birds of a Feather) and the hummingbird is by Michael Strong.

Terugblik op 2009/ 2009 in retrospect

Nadat ik een heel jaar maandkalenders heb gemaakt is het nu zonde om ze weg te gooien, daarom heb ik ze allemaal bijelkaar geplakt op deze drie scrap paginas. Stempels van Michael Strong en papier van Club Scrap.

After a year making these monthly calendar pages, I wasn't going to throw them away. I made them into these three scrap pages. Stamps by Michael Strong and papers by Club Scrap.

Matrix kalender/ Matrix calendar

Soms heb je een oud project liggen (dit is van Club Scrap juli 2008), waar je steeds niets mee doet, tot je ineens een goed idee hebt. Dit stevige grijsboard is uitermate geschikt om een kalender voor het nieuwe jaar mee te maken. Het papier is van Club Scrap Matrix.

Sometimes you have a project lying around, that doesn't seem to get done until you have a bright idea. This had a wonderful heave cardboard, just right for a calendar I wanted to make. The paper is from Club Scrap Matrix - July 2008 and finally made into something useful.

Staande Kalender Kaart/ Standing Calendar Card

Van dit soort kalender kaarten maak ik er elk jaar wel een paar. Al was het alleen al omdat er elke keer weer mensen mailen en vragen om een nieuw patroon. Hier is 2010. Deze keer heb ik de kaart gemaakt met stempels van Club Scrap & Michael Strong van de Joyful kit. Het kalendertje kan je kopen of zelf maken met het gratis download kalender programma van www.red-castle.com.
De technique die ik gebruikt heb voor deze kaart heb ik afgekeken bij Tim Holtz. Hij heeft op zijn BLOG een serie van 12 tags voor Kerst en deze is gemaakt met alcohol inkt (zie de 3e dag). De maat van de kaart is 10 x 29 cm.

Every year I make a few cards like this. Every year I get emails for the new pattern, so here is 2010. This time the card is made with stamps of Club Scrap & Michael Strong from the joyful kit. The small calender you can buy in the hobbyshow or you can make it yourself with the wonderful calender program that is a free download from www.red-castle.com.

The technique I used for this calender is inspired by Tim Holtz. On his BLOG he has 12 tags for Christmas with instructions. This is day 3 with alcohol ink. The card measures 4 x 11 inch.

Deze kalender pagina is gemaakt met de cirkel stempel en restjes van de frame stempel van Michael Strong. This calender page is made with the circle stamp and left overs from the frame stamp by Michael Strong.

Voor het nieuwe jaar/ For the New Year

Al sinds 2003 maak ik ieder jaar dit soort nummer kalenders en iedere keer wordt er weer om een nieuw patroon gevraagd, dus bij deze: hier is het patroon voor 2009! Je ziet hier ook andere voorbeelden.
Vandaag heb ik de kalender gemaakt met stempels van Michael Strong, en Stampin'Up!
Het kalendertje is natruurlijk geprint met het handige programma van red castle. Ever since 2003 I make these number calendars and every year people mail me for a new pattern! So here you will find the pattern for 2009! You will find there also more samples for inspiration.
Today I made the calendar with stamps of Michael Strong and Stampin'Up! The little calendar is printed with the wonderful program by red castle.

Een schetskaartje/ Another sketch card

Hier is mijn schetskaartje voor de Techno Stamper van deze week. Heb de sneeuwman van Michael Strong ervoor gebruikt en mijn kalender programma van red castle. Het papier is scrap papier van Creative Imaginations en de cijfertjes met de Quickutz gedaan. De sneeuwman is ingekleurd met gelpen en de sneeuwvlokken zijn met een pons gedaan. Here my card for this weeks sketch on the Techno Stampers blog. I used Michel Strongs Snowman and my handy calendar program from red castle. Paper I used is coordinating scrap paper by Creative Imaginations. I colored the snowman with gelpens, used my Quickutz for the numbers and a punch for the snowflakes.
