Easy cards with Cats and Dogs

I am trying to use up more of my stash
and here are some easy and fun cards.

This is what you do: pick some background paper.
Mine are out of a magazine called Take Ten and Flow.

Use up all the stamped images you have lying around,
and I found these cats and dogs stamped images by
Tim Holtz. I colored them with my stampin'blends.

Then I take out my word stickers by Tim Holtz
and look at all the cards I ended up with!

Sorry, needed a drink in between making
these cards and my coffee was finished.

Cheers! I hope I have given you some
quick and easy ideas.

Thanks for looking,
stay safe and
stay creative!

Club Scrap July Linky Party: Sea Breeze

Welcome to the
I share with you some card ideas
made with the CS July Sea Breeze kit
in paper and digital.

I start with the paper cards I created with craft paper
and digital printed paper and reral rubber stamps.

Here you see the hybrid Sea Breeze papers I printed
and the wonderful rubber stamps.

Card #1 has a border from the pebble paper
and images stamped on a separate piece of craft paper
and colored with pencil.
Light colors of pencil do it perfectly on kraft paper.

The shells are added with foam tape and a little
silver glitter glue on top.
The sand is made by hand with a white gel pen
and some sticky white pearls.

For the bottle I added some glossy accent after coloring
to have the glass effect.

Card #2 is created with the pebble paper
and a cut out panel.

For the letters I used thes Stampin'Up! thinlits.
I taped them down with washi tape, so they do
not move when I run them through the bigshot.

So behind the cut out letters I glued the pebble paper
on the card and used some foam tape between this paper
and the kraft paper.

Some more cut out shells and a starfish decorate the
stamped birthday greetings.

Card #3 and #4 are beth made with the
Sea Breeze hybrid kit and photoshop
on the computer.

If you like these cards and are not very good
with photoshop, I don't mind if you save them on
your computer for future use. I did not put my watermark
on it, so you can pretend you made it ;-)!
Here a sample of what you can do.
I just printed the images, cut and folded them into a card.
Then added some bakers twine and some left over
shells from my previous paper cards.
On the shells I added silver glitter glue.

Thank you again for looking
and have a creative Summer day!

Club Scrap Blog Hop: Pattern Play

Welcome to the monthly blog hop of
where we show you the kit of the month June
and this kit is called Pattern Play.

I hope you have arrived here from
and seen how she has played with her kit.

I was a little unlucky this month for my box
only arrived last Saturday, so I had to come
up with a quick project. As I also play in the
be something coffee related. I guess some of you
know I can turn any kit into something coffee!

I made this coffee/card gift box.
For the box I used the Stationer's Box that Tricia made with
us at the Retreat in 2013. And for a period of one
month you can download the instructions here.
And there are even an instruction about
how to assemble the box:

In the original box there are only cards, but I noticed that
where there can be the little cards, it also holds 2 times
4 Nespresso cups and that was just perfect.
The box comes with a lid with a window.

After I followed all the instructions, I had the bottom and
the lid. I assembled the bottom and made the dividers.
For the lid I did some stamping for decoration, before
folding and glueing everything together. I used tone
of the pattern stamps from the kit. You find the stamps here.

Around the box I just the silver ribbon from the kit.
The tag is one of the cut apparts from this kit and
I decorated it with this cute coffee die using some
left over paper (red from stash). On the back you can
write a wish or stamp a sentiment.
Here a look at the inside. On the left the cups
and on the right there are 4 cards.

I took the cards out to show them to you.

Here are the cards. You see they are all coffee related.
For my cards I used dies from Tim Hotz.

The coffee cup to go is die cut out of the
patterned papers from the kit. The flower
is punched out and decorated with one of the cute
enameled dots that were also in the box.
Sentiment from the stampsheet.

Ok, so one card for the tea lovers too!
Ribbon from the kit.

Here I stamped on the cup with white ink.
I cut up one of the stamped sentiments
and made it fit my card. Enameled dots posing
as a little milk in the coffee.
Background embossed with coffee beans and
cut with a thinlit and now showing the
green of the card through. Some gesso
was added to the embossed part of the panel.

For this card I embossed the background
with a tim Holtz embossing folder and added
white gesso for a little more effect.
Cup is stamped with green ink and a decorative
pattern. Sentiment is also from the kit and tag
is made up out of a left over piece.

Here a little info about the Coffeelovers hop:

Welcome to another card on day 6 of the
So many sponsors, so many prizes to win, so don't forget
to add your card and have a chance to win some goodies.

And now it is time to hop over to
and she what totally different project she has come up with.

If you happen to loose your way, you can always
go to the Club Scrap Blog where
you find all the participants of the blog hop.

Thank you very much for looking
and have a creative day!

Baby and coffee

Last day of baby cards! I have to move on, but I could not resist
using the tiny feet for a last time. Wanted to make some
non-conventional cards in totally different colors.

Then my new stamps, papers and dies arrived. Yes, coffee theme
from Stampin Up! out of the new catalogue. A set called Coffee
Cafe, that comes with wonderful papers and ribbons. I wanted
them so I was ready for the Summer Coffee Lovers Blog
Hop dat is real soon.

Here is an impression of all the new goodies.
I must order more paper, that is just way too cute and lovely!
So how about a card within the baby theme?
The sentiment is from another new set called
In the City.
Here a close up of the coffee cup.
Yes, behind the cup I used the sizzix coffee bean
embossing folder.

Thanks for looking
and have a creative day!
