Hello everyone!
Have you just arrived from Ruth's Blog, than you know we are showing you
all the new Bonibleaux Disign Digis that are coming out for December.
To show them all the Design Team has come up with some great cards
that we are showing you in a blog hop.
We're doing something different with the Blog Hop this week and that is that one of the Design Team Members will be secretly chosen as the "MYSTERY HOSTESS" of the blog hop and one lucky commenter will receive a

GRAND PRIZE
Free full set of New Release BDD digital images $30 value
This Blog Hop does not have a starting and ending point so no matter where you HOP on you are in the right place. Just keep going. Don't forget to leave some love everywhere you land, including here! Once you have gone full circle you have completed the Hop.

Because Hanukkah is around the corner,
I have come up with this card with
the strory of Hanukkah:

The land of Israel was in 168 BCE occupied by the Greek soldiers, but a little group of Jewish fighters, called the Maccabees, fought against them and won.
To celebrate this they went into the temple in Jerusalem to light the Menorah, but there was only a small amount of oil and to their surprise it lasted the full eight days.

This is the miracle of the Hanukkah oil that is celebrated every year when Jews light a special menorah known as a hanukkiyah for eight days. One candle is lit on the first night of Hanukkah, two on the second, and so on, until eight candles are lit. You can learn more about the hanukkiyah in the article: What Is a Hanukkiyah?

The stamps for this Hanukkah card can be found
in Bonibleaux Digis shop: HERE
I have printed out the soldiers and colored them with copic markers.
The background is done with the cuttlebug ( I used some of Tim Holtz embossing folders).
And here you see the inside. Yes, Judah The Maccabee has won and it is time to celebrate!
And celebrate the new digital stamps with us by looking at all the art in the Blog Hop
for the new stamps.
Please visit Boni's Blog next.

If you get lost, these are all the participants:

Hetty (you are here now!)

Be sure to leave some comments on the way.

Have a creative time!

ps. the first candle will be lightened on Dec 1st after sundown
and I will have some Hanukkah art for 8 days!

CAARDvarks Challenge

At the Caardvark blog the challenge is to make a money or giftcard holder.
So I searched around the internet and found this neat
cardholder on "It's a stamp thing" blog.
I think it is a wonderful card for a gift card.
I made one for Christmas and
one for Chanukkah.
What do you need to make this?
a piece of card 4"x 8" and score at 4""
this is the box of the present
and another piece of 3"x 4 1/4" and score at 1,5
this is the lid of the present.
For the inside you need a piece of cardstock
4"x 2 3/4" and a punch to make the slits for the card.
Of course you can decorate the card to your liking
with scrap paper.
Inside the card I used some velcro dots
as a closure for the card.
The bow of the card is made with 2 sizes of oval punches.
First you punch with the smallest oval and than with the larger one.
3 of each color make a great bow glued to the back of the card
and coverd with one of the little oval left over scraps.
Fot the Christmas giftcard holder I used a stamp by Just Rite and colored it with copic markers.
Tha Chanukkah gift card holder is made with paper and stamps from Club Scrap.

Have a creative day!

New digitals at FCD

More often I have shown ruber stamps by FireCracker Designs by Pamela. Unfortunately she is selling of the rubber stamps and the last ones are on sale for 75%.
She is however keeping the digital stamps and there are a bunch of new ones. The Penguin here is one of them. Would you like to see all the new ones? They are HERE and all of them are great for the winter season's cards.

Here you see my card and what has been done with the penguin. Colored with copic markers and cut out with a circle spellbinder it is made into a Christmas ball. Decorated with some flowers and glued to a background of snowflakes with the cuttlebug. Als inside the card is made fitting to the front.

Hope you have
 a creative day!

11 jaar/ 11 years

Today is our Wedding Anniversary.
11 Happy years we are together
and so I made a scrap page and a card.
The paper for the scrap page is all by Club Scrap
and the stamps are by Michael Strong (pot, mini heart and alphabet).
Echo Park paper (Merry Christmas serie).

And this is the card I made for my DH.
I used a sketch to make it and gold, red
and musical paper by Echo Park paper co. (Merry Christmas).
Of course I used some Michael Strong stamps again,
but the sentiment is by Stampin'Up! embossed in gold.
Do't you love the little heart lock and key charms?!

Let's hope we have many more years
together in love and harmony.
Hope you all have a creative day.

Inspiration Challenge

If it is the 20th of the month, then its time for Dude Time Doodles Inspiration Challenge. Take whatever inspires you in this picture and let your creativity flow.

In the very short time that Bonibleaux Designs has come into existence, our fearless leader has accomplished so much and, like the mailman who works regardless of the weather (with the exception of Sundays and holidays) and that silly rabbit that keeps on ticking (or is it the watch), Boni continues to inspire the design team through all the rough spots while fighting the flu bug for the past two weeks. Get well Boni, we need you!

You have two weeks to post your creation on Dude Time Doodles Challenge blog. You can add your link to your post there. The top three winners and top blog winner will be announced on December 3. In the meantime stop by The Dude Time Doodles to see the art of my fellow design team members.

Here is what I came up with:

A card for Thanksgiving. Here in the Netherlands that is not celebrated and i do feel for all these turkeys being eaten that day. I looked around the internet to find some inspiration and arrived at some Greeting Card site and found some funny cards here: American Greeting Cards and even if you do not celebrate or want to send cards it is great to see and listen to these interactive cards! My favourite is "You can't gobble me".

I used wordart to make this card. i first made the text to my liking and then I inserted the picture Tom Tom Turkey.

I also made a scrap page for Hanukkah, for this Jewish Festival is also around the corner. On the first of December, in the evening, one should light the first candle.
For this page (12"x 12") I used Hanukkah Harry and Judah the Macabee.
Everything is colored with copic markers. Behind the candle holder I used a Technique Junkie technique called: Glimmer Lace from the TJ Newsletter Aug/Sept 2010
The text is done with the computer.

Hope you are inspired to make some art
and don't forget to link it to: Dude Time Doodles.
Have a creative day!

Lesje/ Tutorial

On Splitcoaststampers they have a tutorial every week.
Yesterday there was a new lesson, that looked so fun and easy, that I made this card with it.
The letters and the star in the background are by Michael Strong and the girl is by Magnolia.
Here you see the video tutorial by Splitcoaststampers and it it explains the technique for the background very well. For the letters the same background was made and the letters were stamped with versamark and than embossed with blue embossing powder. I used an oval ek succes punch 1 1/2"x 3/4"to punch out the letters. The girl was colored with a waterbrush and disstress ink.

Have a creative day!

Bonibleaux New Designs

(zie onderaan detail foto)
has new digital designs for Christmas and Hanukkah.
To promote these new stamps the design team has come up with lots of inspirational artwork for you.
You will find this artwork here:

I came up with (yet another) candle box for Hanukkah
(of course you can do this for Christmas too).
Beware to place in this box NOT a real tea light candle,
but one of those arificial ones.
I used Hanukkah Harry digital stamp for this box.
Inside the drawer there are 4 tea light candles and on top of this there is the artificial one.
(see detail picture below)
This way it comes real nice out of the box.
You find the template below.

Here are some detail pictures:
