Club Scrap Sentiment

As I still work from home, I am going on making
one card a day with a Club Scrap sentiment.
Because it is by now card #72 , I decided to make
a Pinterest album with all the cards in one
place for you to see: https://pin.it/4AsYnHa

This is my card for today:

I used a rubber stamp from the set
Expedition and that set is still available HERE.

I started out with stencil #1 to color the house.

Then I used stencil #2 #3 and #4 to create the
card. After all the stenciling I used the stamps.
The heart and the swirls is from Ivory Elegance
(from 12/2006).

I also use a little gemstone in the middle of the heart.

I share all my cards on instagram.
If you want to follow me, I am 4hetty.

Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog Hop - Club Scrap Sentiment of the Day

Here another card today for the

Since over a month ago I am making one card a day
with one of the Club Scrap stamps that I think is
appropriate for these stay at home days. This is card #39.
You can see them all on instagram (@4hetty).
So when at home I guess a lot of coffee is being consumed!

For my card I used a stencil that came with the Brewed Awakenings
kit in 2012 (yes, I am a long time member and love to use the oldies).
With 3 colors of distress oxide inks I colored the background
of the card. The cup and the coffee ring are from an even older kit:
Mocha Java 2002. I embossed the coffee cup with a scented
emossing powder (creamy coffee). The sentiment is embossed with
copper embossing powder.

How about the cute little spoon, did you notice that?!
The spoon was stamped on shrinky dinky and before
shrinking it, I added the hole at the top.

I guess this week there will be more coffee choises
for the coffee hop. Don't forget to take a look THERE,
for there are a lot of prizes to win!

Thank you for looking.
Stay safe, drink coffee
and keep crafting!

Dutch commemoration of the War

In the Netherlands we commemorate the victims of the War.
At 20.00 we are silent for 2 minutes all over the country.
This year that is a strange commemorations, for we all
are at home watching tv and standing outside at 20.00 o'clock.
It is 75 years ago and special memorials were planned,
but they are all cancelled or without public.

For today I found a very special sentiment by Club Scrap
from the kit Steppin'Out 11/04.

Not only we miss those who did not come back from
the war, but today we also miss those we cannot go to.
All materials are Club Scrap.

For my card I used the Dutch colors of acryl paint,
a 4x6 inch gelli plate and various Club Scrap stencils.

When playing with the gelli plate you end up with
quite a few wonderful papers to play with.

So here is another card and I made the globe with
a stencil belonging to Club Scrap Bookshelves 03/13.

Thanks for looking,

and keep crafting.

Club Scrap sentiments

Club Scrap is one of my favorite
stamps and scrap companies.
They are family!

I was looking through my stamps
(yes, to organize them aain)
and i noticed some great stamps
for these strange "stay at home" times.

So I made this card, added it to the
and started a challenge!

This sentiment is from the kit
Orchard September 2017.
All other papers are also Club Scrap
and the flower embellishments
 are from my stash.

Of course I found more and could not stop
making cards. This sentiment is from the kit
Retro September 2006. All papers and other
stamps are Club Scrap too.

This sentiment is from the Club Scrap Bistro kit
from September 2007. The pink paper is from
the Fizz kit and I used some paper punches here.

And here the last one for today with a sentiment
from the Down to Earth kit April 2005.
All papers are Club Scrap.

Thank you for looking,
stay at home
and keep crafting!

Easy cards with Cats and Dogs

I am trying to use up more of my stash
and here are some easy and fun cards.

This is what you do: pick some background paper.
Mine are out of a magazine called Take Ten and Flow.

Use up all the stamped images you have lying around,
and I found these cats and dogs stamped images by
Tim Holtz. I colored them with my stampin'blends.

Then I take out my word stickers by Tim Holtz
and look at all the cards I ended up with!

Sorry, needed a drink in between making
these cards and my coffee was finished.

Cheers! I hope I have given you some
quick and easy ideas.

Thanks for looking,
stay safe and
stay creative!

In front of the house the trees are also by Michael Strong.
It is the smallest sice out of the package of 3.

Sunday color challenge: Fly

Today I have worked on a color challenge using
Michael Strong's large and mini butterfly rubber stamp
and a sentiment by Penny Black from the set Happy Thoughts.

You find other samples and the details on the

Starting the background panel with the large butterfly.
I embossed it with clear embossing powder after stamping
the butterfly random at the paper.

Next taking worn lipstick and fossilized amber oxide
distress inks to color the paper. The clear embossing
works as a resist and makes the butterflies pop up.

The sentiment is embossed with silver embossing
powder and cut out with an oval die and for the
silver paper I used the matching scallop die.

The mini butterflies have also been embossen
with silver embossing powder, but on yellow
and pink paper. The have yellow and pink gemstones
on top, but yellow on the pink and pink on
the yellow butterfly.

For the inside of the card i used all the left overs.
(I stamped a few extra butterflies in case I
did not cut them out nicely ;-).

Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!
