Cupcake Birthday Celebration #500

Good Morning Crafty Friends!

Today I made a card for the

Cupcake Inspiration Blog.

It is one of the blogs I really like their challenges.

The picture is the inspïrationm or sometimes

it is a color inspiration, always fun with cupcakes.

Here is my birthday card for them.

I made one of the hot slim cards (8.25 x 4 inch) with rainbow

colored cupcakes.

Here you see some of the stuff  used to make the card: 

inks, stencils, paper punch and crumpler (for the base of the cupcake).

I used the following stencils by Funky Fossil Designs:

Snow Storm and Banners and Bunting.

The sentiment is digital by Create with TLC.

For the cupcakes I used 7 colors of paper and punched them 

all out (hooray for scraps!) A little brown ink around all

the pieces makes it more lively. They are all attached

to the card with foam tape and finished of with white 

sprinkles on the cakes.

Club Scrap Triangle Challenge for July

Here 3 cards I made for a triange challenge on the

Club Scrap Chat Facebook Group.

In that group there are many challenges, like scrapbook,

sketch, technique and never used before items.

If you like Club Scrap, it is worthwile to take a look there

for there is also a lot of inspiration!

So for my card, i started out with one

and suddenly had some more ideas, so

I ended up with 3 cards today.

This is card  #91 of my #stayathome serie.

I started out with stamping a lot of triangles

on some pieces of Club Scrap scraps.

The stamp is from the Shibori kit (04/2018) as

well as the stencil.

After cutting the triangles I used the stencil

and some purple and pink distress oxide ink.

Next I added some carpet tape to a piece of 

cardstock as big as the size of the background panel.

I covered it with the triangles .

The gaps i filled with white embossing powder

and after tapping off the excess, I used the heat gun.

Added another green panel and the sentiment and 

card  #91 was finished, but still some triangles left.

#92 has the left over triangles

and a pink colored background made with

the Shibori stencil.

For my last card today #93 I started

with stamping the sentiment (Shibori too)

and then using the stencil and two colors

of distress oxide ink.

On top of the stenciled background I used

the triangle stamp. On each centere

of the background i added a golden holograpic

sticker. So much more sparkly when you see

the card for real.

This was a great challenge.

Club Scrap Technique of the Month July

Good Morning Crafters!

Today I share with you one of my #stayathome cards,

because Club Scrap noticed I was making them and

it was a good idea for this month´s technique:

Pair your favorite background 

with a Club Scrap sentiment.

This my card for the challenge, it is also 

card #86 of my #stayathome cards i post on 

instagram. I made an album on pinterest if

you want to see all my cards. They are HERE.

For my favorite background you start with some colors

of ink (spray or cushion) add a few drops of water

and lift the ink with your cardstock from the craftsheet.

Dry it with your heat gun and do this proces several times

until you love the result.

This is only after the first time.

When you have not much ink left over

 add some more, or add some extra water.

I always make a few backgrounds, 

when I have inkt on my craftsheet left over.

You never know when you need more!

I also love using stencils, either on the colored

background or on an empty one.

It gives more depth to your card,

So many ribbons and findings left from my kits.

They are perfect to use on cards as well.

Today I play for a new challenge I found at

If you give a crafter a cookie blog.

It is to honour the medical teams that works so hard

to help all the people that caught this terrible virus.

I made a big card today.

The size of this card is 8.25 x 5.75 inch,

so a lot of people can sign the card.

For this card I used Stampin'Up! design paper

and an image by JessicaLynnOriginal called

Dr. Brentwood Owl.

I colored Dr. Brentwood with Stampin'Blends.

The sentiment comes with the digital inage.

Club Scrap sketch and technique

Today I  share with you two cards I made 

for  two challenges on the Club Scrap Chat

Facebook group: Technique and card sketch.

The technique for January is the ghosting technique

and you find a detailed explanation on the 

Club Scrap Blog here.

For this card I used a Funky Fossile Design stencil

called Bubbles. Paper and stamps

are from my various Club Scrap coffee kits.

The second card is for the sketch challenge:

For the sketch challeng I got out my Lagoon stamps

and a mermaid stencil.

For the background I did not use two

papers, but made it with two colors in the 

ghosting technique.

The mermaid and bubble stamp for the center

panel are colored with distress inks.

Bugaboo Anything Goes Challenge

This week the challenge on the

Catch The Bug Challenge Blog

is Anything Goes.

Here is another desk calender (yes, January is my calendar month!).

I used a piece of 8,5 x 11 inch cardstock for the base of the calendar.

Score horizontal at 4 - 8 - 9 -10 inch.

The images are by Bugaboo (boy with board)

Club Scrap (digital Coffeehouse kit)

and the sentiment I typed and printed with the computer.

It took a few sample prints to get the right size

of the digital image to be able to fit the mini calendar.

I bougt this in a hobby shop, but you can make your own

by printing this calendar HERE. Cut it up and staple it

together.

The image is colored with SU! Stampin Blends.

These images are all digital Club Scrap.

Color Trowdown Challenge #574

I found the perfect challenge for my 

Club Scrap Coffeehouse papers!

It is the colorchallenge on the

Color Throwdown Blog.

I made another deskcalender in another size

that I used yesterday.

For this deskcalendar I used a piece of cardstock:

6 x 12 and scored it horizontal at

4,5 - 9 - 10 - 11 inch.

Papers and stamps are all Club Scrap

Coffeehouse ( kit from December 2019).

You find the stamps HERE.

This little calendar I bought in a hobby store,

but you can make your own by printing this calendar.

Cut all the months and staple it together.

Simon Says: Something New

"Something New" is the theme on the

Simon Says Wednesday Blog.

Of course I am in need of a new 

desk calendar:

I used the Club Scrap December Coffeehouse kit 

for my calendar.

For this deskcalendar you need a piece of 

6 x 11inch cardstock.

You score this horizontal at:

4 - 8 - 9 - 10 inch.

Here you see how it is folded to make it stand up.

For my calender i used papers and stamps from

the Coffeehouse Kit.

But you can also use the digital Coffeehouse kit.

The tiny monthly calendar I bought in a hobby shop

here in The Netherlands, but you can also make your own

by downloading a year on one A4 piece of paper,

cut it up and staple it together.

The background black design paper is from the

paper kit. The coffee cups are stamped and

cut out. the coffee sleeves with 2020 are

number stamps I happen to have in my stash

and fitted right on the cup.
