Think Pink

Here is my card for the
Think Pink
challenge at

and the sentiment is by

First I made this background
(and you are free to save it yo your computer and use it).
I did not have a ribbon stamp, so I made one.
To make the stamp I just a piece of rubber,
some EZ foam and a  clear block or a woodblock.
Also the cuttlebug and the ribbon cut die.
After you cut the ribbon out with the cuttlebug,
you stick it on the ez foam and now you can use it on a clear
acrylic block for stamping. I glued it to a woodblock
for I was afraid to loose my stamp.

I stamped the ribbon with versamark and embossed it with
pink embossing powder. Then I took my distress ink
to spongue the background andadd some stamps
in the same color range.

Techno Stamper sketch 183

Deze schets van de Techno Stamper vond ik dit keer zo leuk,
dat ik er verschillende kaarten mee heb gemaakt.

The sketch challenge of the Techno Stamper was so much
fun this time, that I made several cards!

Paper: Club Scrap
Stamps: digital sentiment by Create with TLC and picture Bonibleaux Designs
Background with Cuttlebug

Papers: Club Scrap
Letters with Cricut

Stamping tip!
You might have noticed that I am not using all of the
Club Scrap stamp (Just want to say Hi),
so did I cut off part of the stamp?
Oh NO!!! I have a little trick to use
half of my stamp and this trick is called:
MASKING TAPE

(click on the image to see everything larger)
1. get your stamp, ink and masking tape
2. cover the part that you do not want to stamp
3. ink up your stamp
4. take of the masking tape, before you actually stamp
5. stamp!
You can practice on a piece of scrap first.

I used Boni's Glenda Salt digital image
and colored it with copic markers and
added some bling bling gem stones in green.

In the background I have chosen two TJ techniques.
On the green you see Acrylic Emboss and
on the brown panel you see
cuttlebug highlights.

At the end of the schoolyear it is time
for teacher cards, they have done a great job
again and it is worth to say thank you
with a lovely card. This sentiment

Flower challenge at Dude Time doodles

Wednesday, May 4, 2011MAY SKETCH CHALLENGE

Howdy and welcome to this month's Sketch Challenge, we are so glad you stopped by.

This month brings us the unofficial start of summer when life becomes a little more laid-back and we find more time to have fun. For the Dudettes, having fun means coloring Bonibleaux Designs!

Here is this month's sketch:

"Anything sketch will do but add a flower"

THE RULES

You will have one week to flip the Sketch,
twist the Sketch, work the Sketch and submit the Sketch.
You are not required to use Bonibleaux Designs Digis
although it would make us really really happy and giggle a lot if you did!
MUST be a masculine themed card, you can use humor,
innuendo, be a little naughty, sarcastic, but it has got to be for a DUDE!

Be sure to use the InLinkz at DTD  to submit your creation.

The winner, the Top Blog and Top Three winners will be announced
on Dude Time Doodles on May 10th.

Once again, we are thrilled to have the awesome Ann Vento, creator of a beautiful collection of sentiments [digital word art] and custom watermarks that can be found at Raindrop Echo Designs and Hostess with the Mostest of Sentimental Sundays.

Ann is giving to the winner three digital image sets AND their choice of a custom watermark OR custom signature! WOW! Is that generous or what?

My card is done with Fred Farmer and a TLC sentiment.
Coloring with copic markers and pencils.

Have a creative day!
