In mijn YAHOO groep voor Michael Strong stempels is een challenge voor het maken van pocket kaarten. Ik ben eens gaan speuren op het internet naar allerlei lesjes voor het maken van dit soort kaarten. Voor mijn kaart heb ik dit lesje gebruikt:

Stempelen op fluweel/ Velvet stamping

Nog een kaartje waarbij ik op fluweel heb gestempeld. De uitleg zie je bij mijn Valentijns kaart.
De stempel van de kat is van Michael Strong. Papier en tekst van Club Scrap. Prima flowers, lint en slitpenhartjes van Making Memories maken het geheel af. One more card with the Velvet stamping technique. You can read in my Valentine post how to do this. The cat stamp is from Michael Strong and the paper and sticker is from Club Scrap. Prima Flowers, ribbons and heart brads from Making Memories finish the card off.

Serengeti box finished

Dit is het laatste deel van de Serengeti doos. Dit project van Club Scrap bestaat uit bovenop de doos een album (zie hiervoor mijn eerdere bericht) en hier is de binnenkant van de doos.
Ik heb er een wit knuffelpoesje ingedaan met een pagina van Pluis erachter. Je kunt het poesje er nog uithalen, het zit vast met een stukje klittenband. Op de deksel van de doos zie je een verhaaltje dat ik van vele kanten als troost toegestuurd heb gekregen. Ik vond het mooi om dat hierin te verwerken.

Al het papier, gebruikte stempels en lint ed. is van Club Scrap Serengeti (de november 2007 doos)

Al met al is het een mooie herinnering aan onze poes geworden.

This is the last part of Club Scraps Serengeti box. A few messages before this one you could see the album that is on top of the box. Here you see what I have put inside the box. I found this cute toy cat that I put in the box before the lay out of the cat in the carden. You can take it out to hold. On the lid of the box I printed out the story that quite a few people had send to me for comfort. I thought it was a nice touch and wanted to keep it.

All papers, stamps and embellishments are from Club Scraps Serengeti box (November 2007).

I think this has become a beautiful memory album for my cat.

Van alles wat vandaag/ All kinds today

Vandaag kaartjes gemaakt en gescrapt. Allereerst deze leuke lay out van de poes. Ik had een doos staan waarin een hoop Club Scrap spul was gekomen en daar moest de kat natuurlijk in!
En ik...ik moest natuurlijk foto's maken en scrappen!! Met papier van Club Scrap uit de Rhapsody kit. Ik heb vanalles er van gebruikt: stempels, stencil en fibres (precies de kleur van de poes. Today I made some cards and I scrapped. First I made this nice lay out of our cat. There was a box in the hallway from Club Scrap and ofcourse that cat had to go into the box and........ofcourse I had to make pictures and scrap! With Club Scrap paper. All papers, fibres (same colour as the cat), stamps, stencil are from the Rhapsody kit.

Daarna heb ik deze kaarten gemaakt. Daarvoor heb ik eerst met de spin & splash machine een leuk achtergrondje gemaakt op glossy papier en met alcohol inkt. Daarna met zwarte stazon de koffiestempels van Club Scrap erop en de tekst is met de computer gedaan. Lepeltje met zilver geembossed. De boontjes zijn er opgeplakt met glossy accent en ook eroverheen voor het vernis effect. Tot slot op de kaart eerst een aantal koffievlekken (stempel van Club Scrap) geembossed met koper en daarna nog gestempeld met bruin en espresso.

Than I made these cards. First I made the background with a spin & splash machine (this is a childrens'creative toy) and I used glossy paper and alcohol inks. Than i stamped the coffee mugs (from Club Scrap) with black stazon and the text I did with the computer. All papers are Mocca Java Remix from Club Scrap.
The background on the card is first stamped with the Club Scrap coffee stain and embossed with copper as well as the spoon. Than I stamped the stain with brown and espresso. The coffee beans are glued and varnished with glossy accent.
