Mother's Day

Hello Crafty Friends!

Wishing all the Mother's a very happy Mother's Day!

Here I am sharing the card I made for my mom.

Even though she is in a care home, she enjoys getting

flowers and a card from me.

For this card I used:

   Falling Hearts stencil,

She is Fierce clear stamp set.

Hello Gorgeous set for the sentiment

and the rosed are from

Blooming Wreath.

I notice that it is very hard for me to stay to one set ;-)

The background is colored with Kitch Flamingo 

distress oxide ink, All the other images are 

painted with water coloring.

Of course there is a rose on the backside of the card!

Bugaboo Digital Stamps - New Release

Today there are new releases in the Bugaboo Digital Stamp Shop

and I choose to make a card with this cutle little dragon Clyde.

The new image is called Clyde with love.

Isn't he cute? 

I colored the image with SU! Stampin'Blends

and cut the image with a scissor.

This heart is made with 2 paper punches by

Stampin'Up! belonging to the bundle Heartfelt

and the sentiment is from that set. 

The background of the card is made with a heart

embossingfolder. The paper is colored with green

and red oxide distress ink.

Cupcake Inspiration 417

I love the new set I have from  Stampin'Up!

called "Crafting Forever" and I used the stamps

for my card for the challenge on Cupcake Inspirations.

This is the inspiration for 

Cupcake Inspirations 417.

I started the background with 2 colors of oxide ink

and did the direct to paper technique. I just love

how the background looks.

Next I stamped the images with chocolate chip

dark brown ink and also used it to color the pot.

To make the background a little more interesting

I used Tim Holtz zig zag and hearts stencil with 

the brown and dark pink ink. Finished the card with

glueing a few hot pink sequins to it.

Fusion Challenge: Lucky

Welcome to my Saturday Sketch card.

Today I made my sketch for the

Fusion Card Challenge Blog

with the Michael Strong small heart stamp.

The challenge is to either do the photo challenge

or the sketch...or you can do both.

I choose to do both!

I used the litle heart stamp by Michael Strong and

stamped it on different gradients of green paper,

embossed with gold embossing powder and

cut themout by hand.

The word lucky I stamped with a clear alphabeth I have

and used some green in. The line between the

word and the images i made with somegreen 

baker's twine.

For the clover I used a heart punch and punched these out of 

two of the hearts and cut the stem by hand. Finished of with 

alittle bling gemstone in the heart of the clover.

Owls for Valentine

Today I have some more owls for you.

 The image is by Create with TLC and

so is the sentiment.

But the background is made with 

the cloisonné hearts of Michael Strong.

 

I scanned the background  (you can do the right click trick

and save it to your computer to use) and tell you how

I made it: first I stamped the hearts with versamark

and sprinkled clear embossing powder on it and then 

heat embossed them all.

With distress stains the background is colored and 

the embossingpowder works as a resist.

A few deops of water are sprinkled on top and

heated with the heat gun. Ready for use.

The owl picture is colored with copic markers and

the heart is punched out of a piece of glitter foam.

The second card is made with a subway text by 

Create with Tlc. It is printed on craft paper

and run through the cuttlebug with a small

hearts embossing folder. On the borders and the hearts

vintage distress inkt is sponged.

The owl picture for this card is colored in pencil.

On the heart is a little gemstone glued.

Roos met mini hartjes/ Rose and mini heart

Nog een rozen kaart. Het is echt makkelijk om te doen en het resultaat is prachtig. Papier van deze kaart is allemaal van Club Scrap (Memoirs) en de hartjes zijn de nieuwe mini-hartjes van Michael Strong. Het idee van de roos komt van Valita's blog.

Another rose card. It is fairly easy to make these roses and you have a perfect result. Papers for this card are by Club Scrap (Memoirs) and the hearts are the new mini hearts by Michael Strong. The sentiment stamp is also by Club Scrap. The idea of the rose is on Valita's blog.

Nog eentje dan! / Just one more

Deze kaart is geheel gemaakt met papier van Club Scrap van de Fizz Kit. Zowel de UM stempels als het lint komen uit deze doos. De stempel die ik op het krimpfolie heb gebruikt is van een andere set van Club Srap die over babies gaat. This card is made only with Club Scrap paper from the Fizz kit. The ribbons and the UM stamps are all from the same kit. Only the "got hugs?"embelishment on shrink plastic is from another UM sheet from Club Scrap about babies.
