Coffee Lovers Blog Hop - Day 5, 6 and 7

Hello caffinated creative friends,

Here another day of the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.
For my American friends it is Thanksgiving today,
but here in The Netherlands it is a cold and rainy
normal Thursday.

These are the cards I made for the last few days. Two I have posted to
my instagram account - 4hetty - for I had no time to post here.
Instagram is quick and easy.

This is #457 on the linky party
and I used papers and dies from Funky Fossil Designs.
The snowflakes are dies from Stampin'Up! and the
gingerbreadman is a stamp from my stash from the dollar store.

This is card #539 in the linky party and used the Tim Holtz
coffee cup die with Funky Fossil Designs papers.
The stamps are from the Nordic Noel stampset.

And now for today's card:
The background of this card #636 is made with a pumpkin embossing
folder with a touch of orange ink on the pumpkins.
The girl is a stamp from the set She is fierce by
Funky Fossil Designs, as well as the cup from the
Layering Cup die set.
The sentiment is made with the computer.
The gold embossed pumpkin stamp is by Michael Strong.

When you open the gold ribbon on the handle of the cup,
there is the wish for a  Happy Thanksgiving.

Thank you for looking
and I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving
with your family and/or friends.

Bugaboo digital stamps: Oldie but Goodie

Hello Craftie Friends!

Today I am back with an older stamp by Bugaboo Stamps.
This is Christmas Teddy Cocoa and the sentiment is
from another stamp set Gingerbread Wishes.

After printing the image, I colored  it with Stampin'Blends
and cut it out. Found some fun Christmas paper that matched
the bear and the sentiment. A simple ribbon and that finishes
this card.

As today is also Thanksgiving, I found this old card in
my files, using AKV Turkey Pumpkin.

I hope all of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving, even
if it is a zoom family gathering. Be happy  and stay safe.

Thanks for looking,
enjoy your day
and keep crafting!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Today I wish all my American friends
A very Happy Thanksgiving
and hope you all have a wonderful time
with your family and friends.
My card is also for the Tape It Up challenge on the

So I started with 3 colors of washi tape on a piece
of scrap. Next I took a word from this sizzix thinlit set
and cut out the word thanks.

Then the background was the next step.
I took some distress oxide inks out in fall colors.
With blending tools I added the colors to the paper.
I am quite happy with the final result.

Now some stamping, embossing and coloring is done.
Here the result of the stamping
and the cutting of the "thanks".

Thank you for looking
and have a delicious creative day!

Bugaboo Bingo

Here my card for the Bingo challenge on the
weekly challenge on the

This week it is a B-I-N-G-O
and my choice is: Bugaboo image - embossing and button.
For my card I used the Friday Freebie Turkey Pumpkin
and colored this with my SU! stampingblends.
I printed the image twice and cut the pumpkin
of the second image to have a 3d effect on the card.

The leaves are cut with a strip die by Tim Holtz.
The background od the card is embossed with a leaves
embossing folder.
Before running the panel trough the big shot,
I added a few Fall colors of distress ink on the
embossing folder to create the colorful background.

This sentiment is from my digital stamp stash,
not sure where I found it.

I also used some design paper left over pieces to
finish the cards. Thankful for my box of buttons.
There is always one I can use.

Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!

Give thanks

Today it is all about thanks and challenges!
Thanks for the challenge
Thanks for the stamps
Thanks for all of you who come and leave comments
Thanks for creativity!

I have two cards made with
some stuff that was on my desk.

The first card is for the
I started with the hand stamp by Michael Strong,
that was still on my desk. The set comes with a large
and a small stamp. They are stamped in walnut
oxide distress ink and colored with my new zig markers.
Then all the hands are cut with scissors.

This background was still on my table.
It is done with inks on a craft sheet and
get think direct to the paper.
The hands are together on the background and on top
you see thanks, made with a Tim Holtz thinlit and
some left over black paper.

Card number 2 is for the October challenge

The leave background paper is left over from some of
my coffee cards from the Fall blog hop recently.
The Happy girl is left over from yesterday's card.
Colored with zig markers matching the background.
She is from the "Make happiness a habit" stamp set
Here also a diecut thanks is added.

Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!

Thankful leaves FMS263

Here is my card for day 19 of the
Color challenge on

You find all the details there.

But this card is also a scketch challenge from the

The color inspriation is from outside in my garden.
The beautiful yellow tree and

all the leaves on the ground.

So I started my card with stamping
Michael Strong's pumpkin stamps and embossed
them with Orient Express embossing powder.

The next step is cutting some leave shapes out of the
pumpkin with thinlits from Stampin'Up!

Here are all the leaves for my card.
So I took my distress markers and colored
all the leaves.
For the finished card I added tiny yellow and green
gemstones. You see also leaves on the background.
Thoose are embossed on the card and colored
with brown distress ink.
For the bottom of the card I used this lined design paper
and had the idea of writing the word thankful on
those lines with a black pen.
And this is the result on the card.
The sentiment is from Tim Holtz.

Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!
