Coffee Lovers Blog Hop - Day 5, 6 and 7

Hello caffinated creative friends,

Here another day of the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.
For my American friends it is Thanksgiving today,
but here in The Netherlands it is a cold and rainy
normal Thursday.

These are the cards I made for the last few days. Two I have posted to
my instagram account - 4hetty - for I had no time to post here.
Instagram is quick and easy.

This is #457 on the linky party
and I used papers and dies from Funky Fossil Designs.
The snowflakes are dies from Stampin'Up! and the
gingerbreadman is a stamp from my stash from the dollar store.

This is card #539 in the linky party and used the Tim Holtz
coffee cup die with Funky Fossil Designs papers.
The stamps are from the Nordic Noel stampset.

And now for today's card:
The background of this card #636 is made with a pumpkin embossing
folder with a touch of orange ink on the pumpkins.
The girl is a stamp from the set She is fierce by
Funky Fossil Designs, as well as the cup from the
Layering Cup die set.
The sentiment is made with the computer.
The gold embossed pumpkin stamp is by Michael Strong.

When you open the gold ribbon on the handle of the cup,
there is the wish for a  Happy Thanksgiving.

Thank you for looking
and I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving
with your family and/or friends.

Cat Capers and Let's Party for the cats.
For the sentiment I used Festive Phrases.

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop - Day 2

Hello Caffinated Crafty Friends!

Have you checked out the
with all the info about the coffee hop??
I hope you did, because there are many prizes to win!!

Today I will explain to you how I made
the rocking card.

Of course I made a new one and for this card I used Tim Holtz
papers and stamps and also some by Echo Park.

This is the base of the card. The largest scallop circle die
(or largest circle die if you do not like scallop) and two smaller
circle dies. You see for the base 2 colors and one in design paper.

The largest circle is folded in half so the card can stand.
You can write inside or on the back.

If you like to decorate with a ribbon, do it before
sticking the 2nd layer.
Glue the two smaller circles on top of each other.

Now we add the two smaller circles to the scalloped one
by adding glue or tape only to the bottom half of the
back of the green circle.
Now the base of the card is ready to decorate.

On a seperate piece of paper I stamped the images I wanted to use
and colored them with copic ciao markers. I am still waiting to get
my Tim Holtz color pencils.
Cutting and punching out the images and using them to decortate
the middle panel.

Hope I have inspired you to enter the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.
Thank you for looking and
have a caffinated creative day!

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop - day 1

Welcome Caffinated Creative Friends

to another

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.

This hop will run from today until November 18.

By following the above link, you will get all info

on how to participate and making a chance to win

some (stamping) goodies.

For my first card I used Brentwood Owl,
who is offered as a freebie on the site of:
that she especially designed for this hop.

I colored the image with copic ciao markers
and cut it out with my scissors.

For the background I used a Tim Holtz embossing folder
called Holiday Knit. After running it through the big shot
I used the new Lumberjack Plaid distress oxide ink.
On top i sprinkled Wow embossing powder ( silver hologram
sparkle) and used the heatgun. It is hard to catch the
sparkle for the picture, but the card sure sparkles!!

Some of you know I do volunteer work in the care home
of my mom. We make cards. Today I used Brentwood for the
ladies to color and make cards with. These ladies all are over 80
and are a little forgetful. I think the result is amazing!

I am also on Instagram - 4hetty-  and just posted this:
It is a rocking card. Will make another one tomorrow and explain
how to do this.

I hope you are inspired to join the coffee hop
and enjoy your coffee along with hopping around!

Have a caffinated creative day!

and the holly stencil on top and bottom.
The sentiment is a combination of a Tim Holtz and a Honey Bee stamp.
The robin is from the Snarky Cat Christmas set CMS416.

as well as the cat, but his hat is from the other Snarky Cat set.
