Today is the last day of Hanukkah.

This Jewish Holiday lasts 8 days and every day we light one more candle. To learn more about Hanukkah look HERE. For each day I made a card and here I share with you all 8 cards.

All cards are made with clear stamps by Funky Fossil Design.

The menorah and Jewish sentiments are from my stash.

Thank you for looking and
I hope those of you who celebrate
had a very

Saturday sketch card: Magical

Today I have two cards for you:
one for Christmas
and one for Hanukkah.
Both Holidays are around the corner.
Tonight we will light the first candle for Hanukkah
and will light one more for another 7 days following.

I used the Freshly Made Sketch for my card.

First with this card i want to wih you all a very
Magical Christmas!
Hope you all have a wonderful time with your family and friends.

This card is made with
Michael Strong's Christmas tree stamp
Revers Confetti Unicorn stamp
and the sentiment is made up with the computer.

I made these layers on top of each other with foam tape.
First a square of blue, than the trees and the unicorn
(colored with markers), another piece of snow and then the
printed sentiment. The back panel is embossed and the
snow flake paper is a piece of design paper.

With this card I want to wish all my Jewish friends
a wonderful and Happy Hanukkah.

For this card I used:
Michael Strong's digital freebie Chanukiah
Revers Confetti Unicorn stamp
dreidl and star stamps from old SU! sets
dreidl paper punch
sentiment made up with the computer

Here you see the close up of the middle panel.
I colord the chanukiah with photoshop. You can grab
this digital freebie here. The unicorn is colored with markers
and the backgroudis stamped with different colors of blue.
The layeres of paper are on top of ech other with foam tape.

Thank you so very much for looking
and hope you all have some
Magical Creative Day's!

Merry Mice for Hanukkah

Today I have been playing with a recent Stampin'Up! set
called Merry Mice. It is a set for Christmas and I have some
fun cards made with it over at my other blog:
This time I used the mice to make a Hanukkah card.

I added some Jewish elements to the mice. The candleholder
(Chanukkiah) is from the set Special Occasions and the
dreidl is made with a paper punch.
The mice are colored with pencil.

In the background I used the confetti textured impression
embossing folder (140592) and added
mint macaron stamping ink.

The inside of the card is stamped with the chanukkiah stamp
again and the sentiment is from Create with TLC.

Thanks for looking
and have a creative day!

Hanukkah 2

Welcome to more Hannukah inspiration.
Hanukkah is this yea from Sunday eve December 6
until Monday 14th December.
If you are wondering what This Jewish Holiday is all
about, do take a look HERE and you will also find
some recipes!

My first card is with images from Create with TLC
and for the color challenge of the Cupcake Inspiration Blog.
Last week I  was one of the of the Sweet Six,so
I want to thank the sesign team of the Cupcake inspiration for this.

I started with printing the Hanukkah images by Create with TLC.
You can find them HERE.  I colored the image with a golden
gelly roll pen and pencils. The sticky gemstones give the candle
holder even more bling. If you click on the photo, you see a larger version
and this way you see better the embossed background with little stars.

Here another card with an image by Create with TLC.
It is a collage image, just a little color and it is perfect
to use on any matching background.
You also find the image HERE.
The background of this card is made with washi tape:
the blue starry one and a golden tape.

The picture is also colored with a golden gelly rollpen
and pencils. Also I added some plastic embellishments
to keep the card light for sending.
Dreidels

Have a creative day!

Hannukah 1

Yes, Hannukah, the Jewish Light Holiday is
around the corner and I am making a few cards.

This is the first one. I just couldn't help staring
with my coffee addiction!

The image is by Create with TLC and comes in black.
For this card I change the color in a coffee brown and
printed it on a heavy white paper.

Next I took Michael Strong's mini coffee cup and
embossed it with copper embossing powder on
blue paper. Then cut it out and used a piece of
foam tape to tape it over the "a" of happy.

The background is a gold panel and I used the
sizzix coffee bean embossing folder.

The ribbon is from www.dianamlarson.com.
She has some beautiful hand died ribbons.
Of course I now have some of the coffee colored ones!

Thank you for looking
and there will be more tomorrow!

Cristmas Day 5

Gift Card

Today I used some of my pop (package of paper) from
Club Scrap to make these gift cards.
Today the kids tend to want money as gift and it is
fun to wrap it up nicely. If you add a ribbon, you
can even hang them in your/ their tree!
So, start picking some papers.
Then take the tope note die and cut out
2 papers for front and back
and 2 papers for decoration.

No big shot and dies?!
No problem!
Take some papers of your choice and cut them
3,5 x 4,5 inch. and a half bit for the inside pocket.
(it was a just right piece left from cutting)
the pocket is only glued at 3 sides,
so you can add money or a gift card.

If you have a corner punch you can make these
round corners. Ad some inkaround the borders.

For decoration I stamped with dark brown ink.
I used the UM stamps from last year called
Gnome for the Holidays.

I added sticky rhinestones on the place of the berries.
Here you see the finished  gift card done with
the top note die.

Front: used some markers to color.

inside pocked.

As it is also Hannukah soon,I made this one
with the last bits of an old Club Scrap Hanukkah kit.

Front is decorated with cut outs
and staps from this kit.

Hope you had another fun idea today!
Have another look at your scraps and see what you
can come up with.

Sunday Scrappage: Thankful

Another week has passed and here
we are again with a new scrap page for the
This time it is my finished pages of the Fire&Ice
Blog hop as I promised iwould show them
with the pictures.

Well, last night we had the party and because the
pages were ready it was easy to finish these
two pages.

If you like the file folder on this page,
please go to the bag to HERE for
the template and the tutorial.

Besides adding the text to the pages, I also
stamped the date and party with
letters and numbers.

They are stamped with versamark watermark ink
and embossed with blue and orange embossing powder.
Also adding in a little blue and yellow ink to make them
match with the colors of the background paper.

Hope you all have a wonderful Sunday!
Have a creative day!
