Happy Halloween!

 Hello Crafty Friends,

I am in my new home unpacking many...too many boxes. My craft room is smaller than in my other house, so now I have to rearrange and get some things out, but that is a hard choice as all you crafters know! But it has to be done.

So tonight Tim Holtz was live and while he was sharing his techniques and inspiration,

I took out my Snarky Cats for Halloween, that arrived when we were packing up,
so  this was the first opportunity that I could use them.
Here is the first one.
Background is an embossing folder.
The cat and pumpkin are colored with distress ink.
The cup with the paw is by Newton’s Nook.

The background is created with a circle die  ,
Some sponging and water droplets.
The spiderweb around it is with some silver glitter glue,
Much more fun in person.
Here I all used an embossing folder for the background.
Coloring with different distress inks.

Happy Halloween!

Thanks for looking,
stay safe
and keep crafting,

Coffee & Creepers!

This describes my coffee addiction perfectly :-)
I found these images on Etsy and just had to have them.

These are designed by a fellow coffee friend
Monica Monge-Taylor and you find her Etsy shop HERE.

First I opened photoshop and opened
the sentiment and the frame (from Create with TLC)
and combined the layers.
The cup with the spider I added on top and later
colored it with a zig marker.
After saving the image as a jpg I then printed it
on heavy paper and cut the image to size.

The background in black and white is a piece of
Halloween scrap paper from a Tim Holtz paper block.
Purple cardstock, backers twine and some sequns to finish
the card.
Here you see the inside of my card. A left over paper
from the front and some siderweb stamps.

Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!

Happy Halloween!

It is Halloween today
and even though we do not celebrate
this in the Netherlands I made this little
treatbag for my grandsons:
I found some free printable pillowboxes online
through a google search
and printed those to decorate with these cute

I printed several images and cut them out with scissors.
The moon was cut with a spelbinder die.

I used the various images on the different boxes.

The sentiment is from Tim Holtz and stamped.

And here the third box.

These are the boys.
I made some pictures last week before
I cut the pumpkin to make soup from.

Thank you for looking
and
have a creative day too!

Halloween treat bag

Even though we do not celebrate Halloween in The Netherlands,
I always like the cute images for this fun festival.
My grandson likes it too, so I made this treatbag for him.

I used digital images from Love Cynthia
This time I used the pre-colored images.

The bag is decorated with these colors of distress
oxide ink and an acrylic sheet.
You dab one color at the time on the sheet, spray a little water on it
and dab the color on the bag.

Here the first color: fossilized amber.

After adding 3 colors it looks like this and
dried it with a heat gun.

With a bat punch (SU!) I made a template to use on the bag.

With Hickory Smoke and a blending tool I transfered
the bat to the bag.

Of course I made a matching tag with the bag.

The sentiments on the tag and the bag are rubber stamps
from Tim Holtz. All the images are printed and cut out
with scissors.

I want to enter my treatbag for the photo challenge

Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!

Halloween Birthday Card

Here my card for the sketch challenge (see below)
with Michael Strong's latest stamp: Cloissoné Cubes.
As Halloween is near, I made the card in Halloween colors.
The cat is a die cut from Mike (just not available anymore).

The cubes are stamped with black ink and colored
with markers. Then they were cut out and fastened
to the background with foam tape.

This is the sketch from
CAS(E) this Sketch Blog.
I turned it sideways for my card.

Here you see the new Cloisonné Cubes.
The set comes with two stamps.
If you come again tomorrow, I have a set to giveaway!

Thanks for looking
and have a creative day!
