Valentine inspiration 2014-2

And more inspiration for you with
Michael Strong's turtle stamp
and Create with TLC heart and part of the sentiment.

Both the heart and the sentiment are printed on kraft paper.
As you can see I used my sewing machine to fasten the heart to
the background. The turtle is stamped in versamark
and embossed in red embossing powder. The shell is
colored with festive berries and the body of the
animal with antique linnen distress ink. Little red gemstones
make the turtle special for Valentine.

The sentiment is real "Sweet wonderful you"
but I cut the words apart and added turtele-y from
one of my other stamps by Joanna.

Inside the card I used Michael Strong's mini heart
and a Club Scrap sentiment, with a bit of the cut off
from the bront background scrap paper.

The hearts are stamped with vesamark on kraft paper
and embossed with red embossing powder.

Andother fun card is this one with the sock monkey:
The sock monkey is an image from Bugaboo
and the sentiment is by Create with TLC.

The heart in the background is done with a scallopped and a normal
spellbinder heart. The inside heart is embossed with tiny heart
embossing folder.
The embellishment is made with the rosette die
from Tim Holtz and the sentiment on top.

Hope you have a Valentine to send your card to.
More inspiration tomorrow!

If you have any wishes for cards,or you
like mine enough to buy, just let me know.
My emailis on the right side of this blog.

Valentine inspiration 2014

In the coming days I will share some old and new
Valentine ideas.
This is a frame I made for my DH some time agoo
with the use of some old Club Scrap
Valentine papers and stamps.

For this project I used an old frame I had lying
around. It is quite small: each frame is 3,5"x 3,5".

I sanded the frames and painted themwith red acrylic paint.
For decoration I used, beads and ribbons and a heart shaped
paper clip. Also I stamped some texts on shrink plastic
and meated it with a heat gun to make it shrink.

The text and images inside the frame are stamped
on greay paper and embossed with
white embossing powder.

Or how about a cute card with your box of choclates?
This one is made with digital images from
Create with TLC and you can fint it here
and here.

The picture is colored with copic markes.

Well enough inspiration for today.
More tomorrow!!

Have a creative day!

Graffiti Valentine gift idea

With Valentine around the corner
I have another cute idea for you
with Club Scrap's Graffiti papers.

It looks a bit like a bookmark/tag.

It is a label that you can hang from
a bunch of flowers or a litle gift,
although it is a little gift by itself.

The front is decorated with some left
overs from yesterdays blog hop
tutorial (here)

This is the template. Use a strip of
2"x 11" of your choice of paper.
Use this template to draw the tip that
is folded around the necklace or bracelet
and slipped into the cutted line.
Here you se it completedon the inside.,
with a necklace with hearts folded inside.
The sentiment is from the Club Scrap
Fizz kit.
Of course you can use any paper
and make this for all kinds of occasions.

Have a creative day!

Valentine inspiration from Create with TLC

With Valentine around the corner
Create with TLC has some wonderful
digital images and for such low prices.

Paulette has asked me to make some
cards to inspire your to use this set:

For the first card, I printed
the cuped image on pink paper.
Behind it you see a large heart
cut out with spellbinders.
The background is a piece of scrap paper.
Inside the card I  used the sentiment
and added a piece of the same scrap paper.

The wings of cupid are covered with
glitter glue and the body with
glossy accent.
On the second card I made the cupid image
look like a tile. First it is printed on
a piece of white paper and  colored
with a blending tool with distress ink
worn lipstick and fired brick.

The background is a piece of scrap paper
stamped with SU! French Script.

The number are cut with the cricut.
Ribbon and little sticky pearls
are used to finish the card.
And the last card is a square card
with the circle sentiments.
The center sentiment is not on the front
of the card, but a cirtcle is cut out and
you see this sentiment is inside the card.
All circles are colored with  a blender tool
and distress inkpads.
The roses are colored with distress markers.

The branches on the front of the card are made
with a die and little sticky gemstone
flowers are added to the branches.

Have a creative day!

Faux Postage for Valentine

Valentine cards are so wonderful to make
and while I am into all these postage cards for Club Scrap,
I also made some for my Michael Strong group.
I needed a fitting sentiment and I found one at
Create with TLC. When you married to the most
wonderful man, he is not only my Valentine,
but my heart keeps fluttering even when I think of him!
So this is my card for him.

This is what I used:
Club Scrap paper
Bakers twine from my stash
Michael Strong mini cloisonné heart
Create with TLC sentiment Heart Flutter
Club Scrap wings and love sentiment.
For the Faux Postage technique there is a turorial for you
just a few posts before this one.
You find it here:

BTW don't forget the BLOG HOP
on the 18th of Febuary.
If you like fairy tales, do stop by!

Have a creative day!

Happy Valentine!

Chocolade en Valentijn horen echt bijelkaar.
Daarom dit leuke doosje voor 4 merci reepjes.

Chocolate and Valentine do belong together.
So I made this cute little box for 4 Merci chocolate bars.

Hier is het patroon. Klik er op
en je ziet het in het groot en sla het op naar je computer
om uit te printen en te maken.

This is the template.
Click on it to see it larger
and safe it to your computer
to print it and to make it.

Voor dit doosje heb ik de hartjes van Michael Strong gebruikt
en een ticket stempel van Tim holtz.

On this box I used the hearts of Michael Strong and
a ticket stamp by Tim Holtz.

De achtergrond is geembossed met een folder voor de vuttlebug.
maar je kan ook een leuk scrap papiertje gebruiken.
Op het hart nog wat bloemetjes ter decoratie.

In the background  an embossingfolder
for the cuttlebug is used.
You can also take a nice piece of scrapbookpaper.
On the heart some flowers for decoration.

Have a creative and lovable day!

Valentine Challenge

gezet. Je kunt daarvan hieronder het detail zien.
Michael has set a challenge to make a Valentine's card
without the colors pink, red and purple.
This is my card for the challenge.
I used Mike's mini heart stamps for this card
and embossed them with black, white and gold embossing powder.
The sentiment is by Club Scrap.

Here you see a detail of the one heart were a button is added
with tin gold wire and a white flower.
If you click on the photo, you see even a larger version.
Have a creative day!
