Saturday sketch card: Tea

Even though I make a lot of coffee cards, it is time for tea today.
I love Michael Strong's tea pot stamp and do not use it often enough.

For my card i used this weeks sketch from the

For the background of this card I used some designers
paper from a paper block I have by Stampin'Up!
that goes with the A Nice Cuppa stamp set. From
this set i used the tea bag stamp to stamp with versamark
on the blue base of the card.
The teapot is stamped on grean and embossed with silver
embossing powder. From a piece of scrap I cut one
teabag to add to the teapot.

The cup is also embossed in silver and the sentiment
(from close to my heart) is embossed in white.

Yhank you for looking
and have a creative day!

Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop: LIKE

Another day in coffe blog hop land!
Have you added your card to the hop to win some awesome prizes?
Well,you find all info HERE.

Today for my card I was inspired by the card I noticed on
She made an awesome card with real coffee.
So I made some instant coffee and decided to use this for
the background of my card.
Here is the finished card
and this is how I did it:

I used watercolor paper
and sprayed water on top of it and then
I splashed some instant coffee on it.

I dried it with the heat gun and splashed some more
drops on the coffee stain.
One of my favourite stamps is this coffee ring
stamp from Club Scrap and I randomley  used it
on this background.
This is a great set i allready have for along time.
It is Coffee Shoppe by CTMH and I love the lettering.
Stamping the cup:
first stamp with the outline stamp
then take the bold stampand before stamping
stamp first on a stencil and then on the paper.
This way you get a pattern on the cup.
So what is not to like?
I like the coffee stain
I like the Club Scrap Stamp
I like the coffee lettering
I like COFFEE!

Hope you like it too!

and be  creative!

Happy Father's Day

So, I have been crafting a little more.
Only one card a day.
How could I pass on Father's Day without a
card made by me? Impossible.
Now with all these mustaches I see popping up
around the internet and on cards, I love the idea
because my DH has a mustache so it is kind of
fun to see what I can come up with.

On the first card I used the small cloisonné leaves
by Michael Strong embossed in white on a piece
of scrap paper.

The wonderful bow-tie vidieo tutorial is here:
For the second card I used a paper pack by Bo Bunny and
and sentiments by CTMH (front) and Club Scrap (inside).

Have a creative day!

Gesso Springtime

Here another card with the gesso background technique.
You find the tutorial in my previous post on this blog:
The tulips in my garden inspired me to make this card.

For this card I used:
Club Scrap Raku paper
Tulip and egg stamp by Michael Strong
Sentiment by CTMH

These tulips are in my garden and don't they look perfect?!
Have a creative day!

Technostampers sketch #6-2

Here another card for the Technostampers sketch challenge and no coffee stamps. I used my new set from CTMH called Soule Mates. I use paper from K&Company and the curls on the heart are done with puffy velvet markers from Marvy Uchida. If you want to know how to use these, watch the webisode of TVweekly with Judy Kins.
