Day 4 and 5 of the new stamps by Funky Fossil Designs

Dear Crafty Friends,

I have been so busy with work and makes,
that I have not shared the other two new sets by

The 4th new stamp set is called Blooming Wreath.
This is a wonderful set with a flower wreat,
flowers and cute birds. I have not even fully explored all
that is possible with this set but here are my first two
cards. One you see above and was started with
a piece of paper from the new 6"x 6" paper block

There is also wonderful new washi tape:
With only 2 flowers and a sentiment the card is
quickly finished.

The next card is also made with the flowers from the
set. These roses come in two sizes and the larger one
has a leave too. I colored the roses with zig markers

On top of the rosed I added silver glitter
embossing powder with  an embossing pen.

The cute bird is also part of this set.
I added som splatter to make the background
more interresting.
For this card i used the girl from the
She is Fierce stamp set.

The last set that is new this month is
This set has lots of stamps and perfect for
mandala's, backgrounds and lots of creativeness.
Here I used one of the papers behind the stamped part of
the card. I also used the Paisly Petals stencil in the background.
I only used a few of the elements from the set, colored them,
cut them out and glued them to the card with foam tape.
For this card I went all out. This is an old technique called
Modern Grid by Technique Junkies.
You see I also used the Let's Party bunny and cat and
the Be.You.Tiful stencil.

All 5 new sets are now available at
Funky Fossils Design.
Sarah Gray, the owner, was also on
and you can watch the rewinds and get even
more ideas of what to do with the new stamps.

Thank you for looking
and I do hope you come back tomorrow
for I have a tutorial and a stampset to
give away!!

Stay safe, healthy
and keep crafting!

Club Scrap Monthly Sketch Challenge: March

Here is this month sketch on the

A great sketch for my basket of
Club Scrap papers.

Here my finsihed card on a pile of
mini pizza boxes I found tucked away
in one of my closets (Julie, what can we
do with these??)
See the bottle caps I used? Which kit was that?
And some paisley embossing in the background.

And here a more close-up look of my card.
Everything is Club Scrap, but from various kits
I have. The design paper is from the
Western Hybrid  kit, printed with the computer.

Sketch challenge #342 and Coffee

rubber stamp I enter my cards in
the sketch challenge from the

In this first card I followed the sketch exactly.
I love the new cup, which has two handles.
This way you can choose if you want it on the right
side or on the left.

The sentiment is by Graciellie Design
and the paisly background is also by Michael Strong.
I found it while clearing a pile of papers on my desk.
The dotted paper is a piece of scrap design paper.

Cup and paisley background are embossed
and the cups are colored with a white pencil and
decorated with a sticky pearl.

It is so much fun to try and use up the papers that are on
one's desk, so here another card. I found the gold
rosette ready cut (sizzix) as wel as the coffee ring
(yse, I had a gret pile and more will follow).
The sentiment are Tim Holtz stickers.

More coffee cards soon for there
will be another:

Thanks for looking
and have a creative day!

Sunday ScrapPage: Festival of Lights

This page has a lot of dark photo's. Yes, that is
because we took a boat trip in the evening. In Amsterdam there
was a Festival of Lights and that is best seen when itis dark.
You find more info about this Festival HERE. There are
also more pictures there with a better view.Making
pictures in the dark (and especially when it is raining as well)
is very hard.

So we took one of these special canal oat trips that took us around a lot of
the sights. The was also a walking tour, but that is too much on one
evening.

I choose to use Michael Strong's Paisley stamps to decorate
the page, because I felt the paisleys gave a kind of wavey
(water) feeling to the page.

The paisley elements are stamped with versamark and
embossed with white embossing powder.

Thank you for looking.

 Have a creative day!

Vilt Uitdaging/ Felt Challenge

I like to be challenged into something new and that is why is enter the Caardvarks challenge. This time there had to be something with felt on the card. The other day, when we were on the boat with Catherine, I made this picture and together with the Paisley paper from Club Scrap (as if was made for it) I made this card. I also used chipboard from Maya Road - they have such wonderful new products.
I am quite pleased with the result.
