Happy Father's Day!

Hello Crafty Friends,

It is always a stuggle what to get my dearest husband for Father's Day.
Socks he has enough, perfumes and books too. No wishlist.
So I noticed we only had one beer glass left and so I ordered six new
beer glasses ans some bottles of beer to fill it with.
Tonight I will coock something that goes perfect with a glass of beer.
Ok, not an original present, but just what we needed :-)

At least I had the right stamps to make the matching card!!
They are all by Stampin'Up! with matching dies.
The sets I used are Bubble Over and Mixed Drinks.
De sentiment is from Guy Greetings.
A pity you do not see the Nuovo glitter on the beer glasses.

This is going to be a Happy Father's Day!

Hope all your men will have one too.

Thanks for looking and
have a creative day!

Happy Father´s Day!

Hello Crafty Friends,

Last Friday I had my club of card makers
at the care home.
We made some Father´s Day cards.

For the cards I used some dies and stamps from
Stampin´Up! and from my stash.
Also some beer glasses I printed, for these
ladies are not very good in coloring.

On this card you also see a Dutch sentiment
saying `enjoy this`.
The SU! set i used is called Mixed Drinks.
The bubble die is from my stash.

On these card I used some printed beer mugs and sentiment.
I make pre-cut and assample all the right materials
for the card in a bag, The ladies only have to assemble the
cards. Cutting and glueing is something they can do.
They love this way of card making I introduced to them.

And this is the card I made for my husband.
I treat him to a nice dinner in a restaurant this evening.

I wish all dads and granddads a very

Happy Father's Day!

Here you see my little goodie for
my husband, a very good dad of 2
plus bonus 2, in total 4 daughters.
I made a tag to go with the present.

I know my dh has enough socks, but when I noticed
these, I just had to have them!

I knew i had this fun stampset from Stampin'Up!
called "Everyday Hero".
It is a set from last years catalogue.

For the tag, I used versafine black ink
and the colorors are oxide distress inks
mermaid lagoon, candied apple and
squeezed lemonade.

The super hero is colored with zig markers.

Wishing all DAD's a wonderful day!

Art Neko for Father's Day

I made this card for Father's Day with stamps from
the Art Neko Marine sheet2 and is also on the
Art Neko Blog. Here I share more detailed pictures
on how I made this card.

This is how I started the card. Take a regular card and from the inside
cut a strip of 1 inch away until the middle fold.

on the fron side of the card I cut only part of the
1 inch strip. (I cut on both sides 1 inch).

Fold these strips towards the front of the card and make
it look like the collar of a shirt.

Next I took the shell stamp and walnut stain
oxide distress ink and stamped it on a piece
of orange cardstock.

I cut the cardtock in two and taped it to the
front of the shirt.

Next I took a piece of 3 x 3 inch copy paper and started
collage stamping on it and also colored it orange.

This is the finished piece of paper, now ready for folding into a tie.

Here you see the finished tie. I add also here the
folding template, that I found on the internet:
If you click on the picture, you can see a larger version.

Here on the detail, you see the tie added and the
collar fastned with 2 little orange brads.

You can add any sentiment to your liking.

Thanks for looking
and have a creative day!

Sunday Scrap Page: Opa

I hope all dad's are having a great day!

Here is my scrap page with only men on it.
This time this dad is granddad and he is enjoying this new role!

I used Club Scrap papers
and a digital sentiment by Create with TLC

I made these decorative ties by using the template below
to cut out the shape. Then I used Michel Strong's
paisley stamp to stamp the ties background.
For the letters I used Michael Strong's  alphabet
stamps and a matching oval punch.

Feel free to download and use the template.

The sentiment is printed with the computer
and cut out with some metal dies.

Thank you for looking!

Have a creative day!

CS Picnic: Apron

Imade my husband another card too for Father's Day
because he got anew bbq today and we had a real
fun BBQ dinner party with the family.

I made this card with the digital version
of Club Scrap's Picnic kit.

It is also a great card for invitations
for a BBQ party, here my template for you
so you can make this card too.

The card measures 4 inch by 8 inch folded in half.

The pocket measures 4,5 inch by 2,25 inch incl. the
glue parts, that are folded around the front of the card.
I printed the blue scare paper from the digitalkit
to cut out a smaller size of the apron to use
for decorating the front.

The glove and the utensils also come as clipart
in this digital kit.You can make themany size you need.
The text is printed and made into a tag
to put into the pocket.

BTW you can also add a recipe inside the card.

As a gift you can hang the apron
around the neck of a bottle.

The pocket is decorated with a
technique from the latest
newsletter called: Gradient Markers.

Have a creative day!
